Armstrong vs Pep featherweight primes ???

    It is a battle if Armstrong can cut of the ring against if Pep can keep him turning IMO.

    And both were masters at it.

    Also I love the Petrolle fight.

    That's a good point but I think Pep for the early part of the bout at least is more comfortable on the outside. Just to draw parallels from your analogy, Saddler could be the more refined Foreman with better stamina. Maybe that could causes more of a style problem if he can handle you competently on the outside while mauling you on the inside. In this fight each fighter knows there strengths. So it's however heart, will, and strengths come out more that will win the fight I guess.

    It's a battles of who's strengths are better. All the intangibles come out in this fight to predict a winner.

    Armstrong may be busy, but pep's footwork will bail him out of trouble. Pep will rap armstrong with fast accurate blazing combos then immediately glide out of harms way. he will be sticking and moving beating armstrong to the punch all night going in and out.

    I don't see any 126lb in history being able to outpoint a prime willie pep
