Arquello vs Esteban DeJesus at Lightweight:

Seems like this fight should been made back in the late 70's or so.

Box Rec lists De Jesus as only 5'-4.5" with a 67" reach.

Arquello at 5'-10" with a 72" reach reach.

Would Alexis just have crushed De Jesus?

Same era and basically same quality of opposition, the edge goes to Alexis but in a trilogy of fights 2-1 in favour of Alexis.
It depends also in which year they fought at Lightweight.
De Jesus beat the unbeaten Duran once in his prime so that should count in De Jesus favour.
1972/73 was De Jesus best years while Arguello was still developing.

Esteban De Jesus was a good fighter with fine boxing skills during his prime years. While Arguello had an edge in punching power and height on De Jesus, he had some trouble with boxer-types throughout his career.

Esteban could score an upset, but most likely Arguello takes a split decision.
