This is good for Cris no doubt, follow up a good win with exposure on FNF's, hopefully a win there could set up a meeting with Helenius by September. I can see one more stay busy fight, but that will be 3 since January of easy opponents, time to step it up again.
I do think for Cris this is the best formula though, fight as often as he can, he didn't take much punishment Saturday, so why the hell not? Good for him.

he was out of the ring for almost 2 years. fought marcus mcgee, rafael pedro, dominique alexander, rob calloway, and then gets a title shot? laughable

It's good to see someone staying so active, but I hope the Arreola camp aren't trying to fight a string of journeymen instead of a top 10 fighter to get a title shot.

I concur, but thats how it works, don't like it either but he wants a HW title, to get a HW payday.....thats one way to go about it.

I'd give him more respect for beating 2 top ten guys than for beating 5 mediocore fighters.

    Halla-fkn-looyah!

He's doing it right... for now anyway, I'm back on the Arreola Express.

He won't beat the Klits anytime soon,,, but at least he lets his hands go! Thats rare in the HW division these days.

Old school, to be sure. Good for Arreola. I always enjoy his fights, whether he wins or not.

Hopefully we will get to see a fight vs. either Peter or Tua in the near future.
