I'd buy that if he wasn't progressively getting fatter along the way. Either way, he ****ed that chance up, lets wait and see how he looks for the weigh in.
Underneath Arreola's flab I would bet he's no bigger than Adamek, maybe smaller. And just because Haye can model Calvin Klein meat hangers doesn't mean ****. Look at Michael Grant, useless.
I think that we talk here too much about Haye. This is Arreola-Adamek fight. What I want to say that size isnt everything in boxing, what proved in the past smaller heavies like Evander Holyfield, Michael Moorer and others. If boxer is faster and quicker, he can use his size disadvantage as an advantage.
Even if he comes in around the exaact same shape as he did with Vitali, he knocks out Adamek in six. You underestimate Arreolas power and over estimate Adamek's chin. I can see Arreola laughing at Adamek every time Adamek lands a punch. Adamek wont be laughing after the fight. He'll be asking everyone around him what happened.
True. But Adamek does not pocess the defensive skills as Moorer or Holyfield. Adamek hardly even has a defense at all. He is not as slick as the fighters you mentioned above. Makes for great fights, but will work against him with a puncher.
I agree that defense is the element, where Adamek have to work the hardest, but please... You cannot become a 2-div champion without having at least above average defense. As I said this is element that Adamek's trainer Ronnie Shields constantly improves. He will not make a Mayweather from Adamek in few weeks, but I think that we will see some positive change. More balance, head and body movement, going in the left or right after finished action. Adamek will be a very active in the ring (both in the offense and defense) so if his stamina is ok, then he clearly outpoints Arreola. Just not trade punches and go on the war with Chris.
And you'll hear it one more time after the fight when Adamek gets smoked. That is if you have the balls to come back on here when I am proven correct and you with egg on your face.
I'm not underestimating his power, He is average at best. If he doesn't get him within 6 Ademek will take over the fight from that point on. Arreola's conditioning is terrible while Ademek is in good shape. On the bright side, I'm interested in a HW fight, somethign that hasn't happened in a while
Adamek won't see round 9. I just watched Adamek-Estrada, and you think this guy's going to trouble genuine heavies? No chance.
Brian Minto went 4 rounds with Arreola. You would think Adamek is at least a step over "club fighter" freaking Brian Minto.
