i'd back a few heavyweights to deal with haye, arreola isn't one of them. he is shocked and stunned by hayes hand speed. haye KO3.
you don't have to believe that Haye deserves a title shot. you don't have to believe that he was even the best cruiser in the world. you don't have to believe he would beat either Klitshcko. but you have to believe he wins this fights every night of the week and twice on Sundays, unless you've never seen them fight. the gulf in ability is huge. Arreola simply isn't in the same league, though I feel this should be the next fight for both fighters. Haye KO 2, THEN fight A Povetkin despatched Wlad.
Honestly gotta say, i really do think Haye mops the floor with Arreola. If Haye cannot get Wlad (fingers crossed he does) than why not, would be a match-up that fans both sides of the pond would appreciate.
I would love to see this fight happen though I believe it to be a mismatch in Haye's favor. Haye by KO inside of 4.
Please point me to the fight where Arreola gassed out late in the fight. Yes, his conditioning sucks, but he's NEVER looked gassed out in a fight. He's started slow a few times, but that's about it. All that said, Haye outboxes the hell out of Arreola. If Travis Walker can hurt Arreola, then Haye would knock him out before he ever got close enough to put enough pressure on Haye to crack his chin. I agree with the poster below who said the 235 pound version might stand more of a chance, but I still doubt it. Quite simply, Arreola was not blessed with enough speed to effectively handle someone who can stick and move and box on the outside. He would need to get lucky with a bomb to win, same as if he fights Wlad.
It's a waste. Arreola sucks, he needs to improve a lot before he takes on anybody good. For Haye, it will be a step down from the Barret fight.
uh no. barrett came to fight but he was fried. he had nothing on his punches. arreola has very heavy hands and throws decent inside combinations. Haye wins if he plays it smart but if he gets wild, Haye might be reaching for the oxygen mask once again :yep:yep arreola is a step up, not down. barrett was not a top 20 hw. Arreola ranks somewhere between #11-15 in my estimation.
I'd Agree with most of what your saying, I've been thinking about the Heavyweight scene and maybe this fight should be made before any of them get a Klitschko. Top American contender against Top British contender winner get's a Title shot, It makes sense and will build the winners profile, thus making a fight with Wlad or Vitali even bigger.
