Yeah. The ring side doctor cheering on AA instead of recommending the fight be stopped for AA's own health? The long break after he got his jaw broke. Little AA looking at the ref every time he wanted a break and a point deduction for a low blow? Those circumstances? Yeah. He did just great. Pavlik won't be fighting him in Germany. :deal
Excuse me but the referree was from the states, and if anything, Miranda is lucky he did not get disqualified for the excessive head butts on a guy with a broken jaw. If you are defending his actions, that shows what type of a person you are, I thought you were better then that.
Oh please spare me the self righteousness. I have the raw footage of the fight. I know what I saw and didn't have the 'aid' of having to listen to the partisan announcers. I could here what was being said in the ring. I could see low blow points being deducted because AA ASKED for them. Anywhere else and that would have likely been stopped and a TKO awarded. I don't care where the ref is from. You want Cortez? You can have him. :deal
So you Arthur haters are never going to let that go are you? You guys are funny. Arthur removed ALL doubts when they fought the rematch. Why do you always go back to that fight? I could start talking about Pavlik Taylor 2 and how that was controversial as well. A lot of fans and experts had it a draw or a Taylor win, I never go back to that fight do I. You guys literally on EVERY arthur thread bring back that fight over 2 years ago. Let me put it this way, does anyone talk about P williams vs C Quintana any more. Exactly the way aa miranda 2 turned out. Thank you very much. Cry me river at its best here.
I also want to add, why don't you bring up Sturm vs de la hoya as much as you guys bring up aa miranda? That was in the states, Sturm got robbed and it was not even a close de la hoya win. So bring that up in every thread that you read, exactly you hate arthur so much you have to bring up a fight that was fought over 2 years ago.
Indeed, the win of Pavlik against Miranda was absolutely convincing, and I was really impressed, how he dusted him in the ring. But it`s always hard to compare fights. Mainly because of the fact that every fighter`s progress is different. And the boxers meet at different points of there career. Some fighter may learn and get better in the course of their career and some not. Concerning Miranda, before the first fight with Abraham, he was definitely convinced to be the best fighter in the world, and nobody can stop him on his way to the title. Some people say the referee and the judges did that. Apart from this, I think the main defeat for Miranda was, that he couldn´t finish a deeply hurt opponent. I really don´t want to overrate that, but such experience can seriously influence a fighters career. The following fight with Pavlik was devasting and showed that Miranda is in way very limited and one-dimensional as a world-class boxer.
AA is fighting 30 seconds by round. He's very powerfull in every aspect, but is skills are very average. It's only a matter of time in is case. He will get exposed soon or later.
His skills are not average, his physical limitations are what can be his downfall, meaning height and reach, fortunately he puts people to sleep with sheer power, 12 rounds is a long time for a boxer not to get tagged with.
See the post I was answering? Kelly took quite a few of Miranda's punches well. I brought up a valid point to the mans observation and you kept escalating the situation. We have seen what Miranda can do when he lands flush, yet everyone is convinced AA will KO Kelly with ONE FREAKING PUNCH! WTF. Very unlikely to happen. Both Kelly and Arthur took several rounds and several knock downs to stop Miranda. It was a TKO in each instance. Going by the one common opponent, I don't see AA with some big power advantage. Kelly withstood Miranda's power shots much better than AA did. P2K posted the xrays to prove it. :deal
P2K provided me with raw footage of the fight. I can hear what is said in the ring during that two minute 'rest' period. He also gave other insights. Like the ring doctor cheering and jumping up and down in excitement for AA. He saw that first hand. He was there. Miranda would have been DQ'd for one more phantom low blow so he had to abandon the body attack entirely and try and work on AA's guard. That is how he lasted so long. And the judges were giving AA rounds for running and playing defense except for a few punches at the end of the round? It would be interesting to do an in depth round by round on ESB sometime of the fight. Let those that have it score and debate one round per day. See what the concensus would be. I've always thought that would be interesting to do with a fight. This would be as good as any.
What are you trying to prove by making a detailed and analyzed comment on Arthur's win against Miranda? And you did not answere my question, AA vs miranda 2? Did he leave any doubt, that had arthurs jaw not been broken, he would have probably did the same thing that he did during there rematch? Do you think quintana deserves a rematch against p will? What is your arguement to posters and experts who thought J taylor pulled out the victory against pavlik? I had it a draw. Why do you always comment on that fight and not Sergio martinez vs Kermit Cintron Felix Sturm vs ODLH Jermain taylor vs pavlik 2 Bernard hopkins vs Wright I could go on and on, trust me. My point is you ALWAYS argue that Miranda got jobbed, but NEVER argue Miranda could have gotten disqualified? Is Miranda a dirty or a clean boxer? Was Miranda head butting arthur during the fight? You hate is obvious and that is fine, but if you want to argue a controversial decision, there are MANY, but no, HERMIT likes to argue how bad that decision was, I wonder why?:huh That is right, because it was arthur who won.
