if Taylor didnt have that spirit and personallity, he would had been knocked up in the second fight vs Pavlik
50/50 fight. Taylor is worse for him than Pavlik, as he does have some speed. He can outwork Abraham with a disciplined fight, using his speed to get out of range after getting his own work off. But if he fights anything less than he did in Pavlik II he gets starched.
Taylor would have to be smart enought to not gas himself. I don't see AA forcing that pace on him though.
yeah, basictly, if Taylor make the 12 rounds on his feets, even if he is knocked down one or 2 time, he is gonna with this, there is no way that Abraham would beat Taylor on Points on my opinion
Tough one! Taylor is bad for Abraham, very smart, strong, quick fighter with great fundamentals. Not Arthur's type of fight. But I have to see Taylor one more time at 168 as he looked the best in years the last time - Manny Steward limited his skills in a bad way and he looked much better without Manny. If he keeps getting better and better, I'll prefer him vs. Abraham at 168 (close call, like 55-45). At 160, based on the the close/controversial fights vs. Hopkins, Winky and Spinks and watching Winky, Spinks and Ouma abusing Taylor at the ropes, I have to go with Abraham by TKO. Simpy put: if Winky could land clean combinations on him, Abraham, a fighter exceptionally good at the ropes, would knock him out. Great fight! Bring it on!
taylor would loose this one, taylor is not the athletic boxer some in here seem to beleive, he has good speed and thats about it, he would do well the first 5-6 rounds but would get caught sooner or later with his stupid habits of having his guard low
