Pérez is rolling the right hand in place above his shoulder, feigning an overhand but not loosing. Crolla is ducking and rising in place before him, throwing a jab into Pérez's face at his crest. Body shot by Pérez. Jabs exchanged as they circle in the middle of the ring. Pérez is caught by a right hand while throwing a 1-2 and leaving an open lane. Crolla is picking off Pérez's jabs with his own, just throwing more and setting the pace, moving forward. Nice left uppercut on the chin by Crolla, generating some torque with his knees bent on the way in. Pérez is hit with an underhanded kebab on the gut followed by a slicing uppercut into the bottom of the chin with Crolla's right. Busy, accurate jab by Crolla, giving the champion no quarter.

Pérez is yelling at Crolla while twisting and dipping from side to side to slip and bat down the jab. Body shot by Crolla. Pérez attacks with an uppercut and tries his own jab, and Crolla sidesteps while blocking. Double jab by Crolla on the mouth of Pérez. Crolla is hooking the body and quickly putting up his guard as Pérez tries catching him with a quick right on the head, just blocking it.
