Hagler is American. Arthur is not.

Stupid thread. The answer is obvious.

Hagler via a one-sided beating. And it won`t go the distance. Toughness would only get Abraham a bigger beating. What chance would he have of doing anything? Hagler would laught at Abraham`s attempt to hurt him. Seriously, he couldn`t carry Marvin`s spit bucket...

    Hagler via wide UD.

Abraham gives away all the early rounds as he always does, and then loses the later ones when he can't knock Hagler out.

I'm not a big Hagler fan, but this one is easy to call. AA eats up weak-jawed guys that come to him with no variety - pretty much the opposite of Hagler.

Abraham is a world class fighter with extraordinary power and a great chin, he would certainly give Hagler a tough fight. He would probably lose but I doubt he would be leaving the ring in a body bag at the end of round 2. I know Hagler been retired for a long time but for those who don't remember he was actually human FFS.
    Hagler by UD 116-112

I don't think Marvelous would have a problem stopping him within the 15 rounds he normally competed in.

...and I would only predict Abraham to get stopped early, if he tried to dig in and go all out early.

haha, thats not why.. its because Hagler is a proven ATG and AA is unproven Middleweight during a weak era .... and just LOOK at their skills. if you understand boxing then this is an easy question .... don't think its just because he is American you ****ing ignorant wanker

There is an unwarranted ammount of feeling on here that this would be a slaughter, with words like destruction and murder being tossed around.

IMO, Abraham has a slight edge in the chin department and the power department as well.

Marvin has a large edge in the boxing skills department.

The most likely outcome: Hagler by wide UD 10-2 (or 9-3 or 11-1).

And while the Marvellous One might manage to stop the King, I believe that in the unlikely event that this were to end before 12 (or 15 ?), it would be due to an upset.
