This seems like a reasonable thought too. JT was very busy early with Pavlik and Froch. What if Abraham doesn't make him work hard early?

I think AA has the most 1 punch power. Kessler and Bute throw combinations that stop their opponents. Pavlik just wear his opponents down by his agressive style.

Im not sure AA´s power will be as effective at SMW and he has one of the weakest record list of all the guys in the Super Six. His biggest win is against Miranda whom i dont consider to be a very good fighter. He has power but thats pretty much it.
Taylor is a much better fighter than AA ever faced before, but he has a chance coz Taylor has been dropped a few times and we all knows AA has the punch to KO him. Still im predicting a win for Taylor in this one by KO, but should AA win I don´t see him winning more fights in the Super Six. Taylor has stamina issues and is voulnerable to big shots, definetely something that suits AA perfect.

I have to disagree Hitman, Ward and Direll have far worse resumes, Kesslers best fight was against Calzaghe and Beyer. Andrade was a tough as well. My point is AA's resume is not as bad compared to some of the fighters as some think.

Arthur has big one punch power against sub-standard opposition. Miranda is a big puncher, but all of AA's other opponents were more or less feather-fisted. The fact that he never had to worry to much about what was coming back at him contributed a lot to his KO ratio.

I can agree with this Boo. It still does not negate his obvious power though.

JT is susceptible to a big punch whether it's when he's tired or not. Taylor's taken a couple viscious beatings over the past couple years, it's difficult to have a lot of confidence he can overcome the psychological damage, let alone physical, that's been done especially when in against a guy who can potentially hurt him worse than KP or Froch.

AA when aggresive is a freaking handful. I will pull for the underdog but love AA's determination and have a hard time seeing JT being the one to overcome it.

Every now and then AA throws a compact straight right that is about as close to perfect as you could ask for. Taylor needs to be careful of that. All that other wild looping stuff will get AA countered hard, fast, and continuously unless Jermain is gassed. That's why I say Abraham needs to stick with his usual patience. If we see the same old JT and the same old AA, Taylor will probably get stopped late. From arthur's end trying a bunch of new stuff in the biggest fight of his life is not a good idea.

According to Ozell Nelson, Jermain Taylor currently leg presses 500 pounds easily. Jermain with really strong legs, and sitting down on his punches better knocks Arthur the **** out!

In my opinion this is one of the most intriguing match-ups in the tourney. I'm a huge JT fan, as you know, but I have not, and will not, come straight out and pick Jermain to win.

Andre Ward beat Miranda very convincingly and looked better than AA did against him I think. So to me his record list is no worse than AA´s.
Kessler has a much better record list than AA ..Calzaghe,Mundine,Beyer,Andrade
And he fought all his fights at SMW

Only Dirrell has a worse record list than AA
