A competent referee would have started deducting points in that fight for constant holding/clinching THROUGHOUT the fight if when it was obvious Ward was winning the fight. AA beat Gevor who was ranked top 3 at MW at the time, Sturm OBVIOUSLY ducked him and I don't want to start with KP. Not Arthur's fights some potential matchups did not come thru. Other then clinching Miranda to a win what has Ward done to say he has a better resume?:huh
Both Pavlik and Abraham had several KD's on Miranda over several rounds before they finished him. Sounds like similar power to me.

A lot of posters who watched the fight thought he beat Sturm, no 1 middle weight to Kelly, but then again he is a bum because he fights "pre-selected" fighters. And if the Europeans go 3-0 in the first round, were the Americans "pre-selected" like you mention? About Ward, yes he won convincingly I have no arguement with that, but trying to fight a guy grabbing and clinching you for 12 rounds straight after every punch thrown without the referee even warning him with put a fighter at a disadvantage if you ask me.

First of all... I never said Gevor was a bum. I said that AA had fought alot of bums and he did. Khoren Gevor is just not a name you can bring up and expect to impress anyone with...other than your german friends maybe. This tourney will be the moment of truth for AA...I just don´t think he has what it takes...but i could be wrong its just an opinion.
ANY fighter fighting today has fought a "a lot of bums" on there resume. AA fought Ikeke who was a p4per his 19th professional fight while Pavlik fought anthony ivory for his 19th fight( a guy that retired with a record fo 32-78-5). Both can play that game hitman. And for your information I am not German, I do have German friends though, why even bring that up?
