arthur gets raped at world level.

I actually cant get over the transformation in Arthur, he was so cocky, big headed etc and i hated the circumstance's in which he left Harrison's camp and honestly thought they would get it on in the ring someday.

Now i look at Harrisons prediciment and despite being a long time fan i cant help getting pissed off at what he has threw away.

Like i mentioned earlier Arthur, since losing to Gomez has improved both in the ring and outside and i have to say he seems to have matured alot as a person.

congrats to AAA. i see what some posters are saying about the first few rounds, but arthur fought a good fight, losing those rounds but starting the process of wearing kobo down, before dominating the latter half of the fight.

i don't see what the problem is with that...does a fighter have to clearly win every round to be considered world class? kobo was not a journeyman..he may have been past his best, but was someone who had mixed with good fighters and i think this was a very good win for arthur. i hope he does get to face guzman who he has a very good chance of beating and will give him some rep stateside.

 

I heard somewhere that if Guzman does move up in weight then AA has to fight Jorge Barrios within 180 days. That fight will be fun!

How would you guys see that fight going?

 

That would be a great fight but isn't Barrios fighting Juan Manuel Marquez ?

ive not seen the fight yet as i was at work but hopefully this paves the way for a voluntary defence once he gets made WBO champ proper against Gomez at Edinburgh Castle...the first fight was a barnstormer and if AAA did the job then that would be one ****** off his back...

AAA is a top class operator...whether he is elite time will only tell...i do not think he would get raped at that level though...would be nice if he found time to knock out Khan also

 

I think it makes much more sense to go and take Fana's IBF title rather than get revenge on Gomez . Gomez should have to prove he has something left before he can get a rematch .

 

What's the big deal, isn't getting raped on world level pretty much the calling card of all Euro fighters?

Gomez already did that.The problem with Arthur is he believes his own hype.He has lofty goals and asperations and is certainly on the fringes of world class but his just not one of the top guys at his weight no matter what he thinks.He has power and a decent chin but thats it.His chin is in the air and his quite easy to hit and has been fed a steady diet of half way men.His biggest bout to date is.. erm.. there isnt one!:bart
