I haven't seen the fight Reilly, but it sounds like everybody thought Cook won. Nah, I don't think Arthur would've been shafted by the 2 english judges, even if he deserved it.
Iam Scottish and i think he lost the fight, although i do think AA is better than cook and could have won had he came to fight instead of looking like he had nothing better to do than turn up.

just read on the bbc sport page that Cookie SUPPOSEDLY said to Arthur at the end of the fight "'You're a great champion, you have won the fight. Well done" No way would have Cook said that-he knew he had won. Not only is he a bad loser, he is a liar.
Alex Arthur seems to be looking for an excuse for his performance, he was out punched for most of the fight, blaming the judges does nothing for his credibility, he just comes across as a bad sportsman. If there was a problem with 'english' judges why not mention it before the fight as the judges are already appointed. Grow some balls Alex, take the loss like a man.
Of course Arthur was right. The result was a joke. What did Nicky Cook do to win that fight? he ran. He traded, got hurt & ran. Then ran & ran. Dont get me wrong, Arthur should have knocked Cook out. However, Arthur made the mistake of boxing when he had Cook stumbling, cos hes one of those daft scots that thinks the 'we are all brits' & englanders will be fair on the scorecards My god, Ian Darke was on Cooks dick all night, & paid off jock Jim Watt stuck the knife into Arthur all night. Looks like most here watch a fight & are influenced by commentators, thus all this rubbish about how Arthur deserved to lose to an englander who ran all night long. If this fight was in America, Arthur would have retained. Only on these shores does a fighter get points for running, & thats what happened. The only thing that hurts me about this fight is that Arthur should have known he was going to be robbed when he was up against 3 english judges & an english ref who let Cook hold on for minutes at a time every time Arthur hurt him. IMO it was a farce. Arthur was robbed, & anyone who thought Cook won was obviously being duped by SKY's biased commentary team. For goodness sake, what did Cook do to win that fight? Cos I watched him run like a chicken for 10 rounds. Of course the englanders here will come back with smug posts at my good self, but thats cos their own gave crap Cook a gift title. No offense but in my experience it's more often scots who are anti-english than the other way around. its simple now arthur has to move up because hes a bit tight at the weight anyway and it would be the perfect fight for amir to comeback on, both are crap if you ask me but it would be a tough fight for both, generate enough intresest in britain as arthur was a world champion lol and it should start bringing the winner back up the rankings
I haven't seen the fight, but it is no surprise that so far the only person who had Arthur winning was Dunky. Every other Scot has said Cook won and even a guy with the name AAA and an Arthur avatar says Cook won. Dunky and bias are as one.
