Hopefully this will be Alex's last fight at Super Feather, he should have gone to Lightweight about 3 years ago where I feel he would be much more effective. He really struggles to make super feather.

Should be a good fight, and I can see Alex staying the full 12 with Guzman, but Guzman takes a comfortable points decision.

Alex needs a knockout to win this (if indeed this fight goes ahead)

If the fight happens, watch out for a major upset with Arthur stopping Guzman in the late rounds with a body assault.
People may say Arthur has never fought anyone in Guzmans class, but I would retort with the line "Guzman hasnt fought anyone in Arthurs class either"

You heard me right. No need to re-read my post.

I wonder what's going on in Alex Arthur's head now. I wonder if he thinks this fight is for the p4p all time anyweight world title.

    I blame the Skol.

I fear AAA is destined to be introduced by Mike Goodhall for the remaining fights of his career after Guzman.

I'd love this too be true, Alex Arthur is a tough fighter who deserves his chance.

I favour Guzman but apparently he's not looked so good recently, not seen his latest fight so I cant say, someone fill me in? Guzman looked quality when I first saw him, fast hands good skills. Whats gone wrong?

Are you asking me or telling me? It always confuses me when people answer their own questions in a post.

Hope Arthur wins it would be class for British boxing to have another world champion. But I don't see it. He struggled with ****ing Foster and Guzman is way too fast and Alex way too open and easy to hit.

    Arthur gets stopped late on.

I am not a mad fan of Guzmans though as many may know, I think he is overrated but I don't think Arthur is the one to prove it.

He will lose on points since his chin Is good and It took loads of shots from Foster and Gomez to put him down.

i couldn't stand guzman, but have come to realize he's a real top class operator.never been convinced by arthur,i don't know how he's top ranked, hasn't fought an opponent who could be considered world class.i think he gets badly beaten here, and although guzman hasn't knocked many out lately i think he's stopping alex.i hope i'm wrong but that's how i see it

    Niiiiiiice !

I reckon if anyone is doing the knocking out It would be Alex. Reckon Guzman will beat him on points though.

    Arthur has a shot here
