    This is a risky fight for Pac. Bradley is a good contender at 147 and at 140 he was the best fighter.

    The problem for Pacquiao afterward will be in demanding parity financially in a negotiation with Mayweather.

    Pac-Bradley will do poorly in PPV sales and thats going to be a problem in negotiations especially after Mayweather's fight with Cotto does well.


    Well its a problem if Pacquiao wants to really land the Mayweather fight which it looks like he may not.

    bradley is undefeated in his prime and confident. i couldn't say the same with this version of cotto. also cotto is not low reward. if floyd beats him, he would get tons of merit even if cotto is not the same fighter as he used to be at welterweight. also if pac was fighting cotto again, it would be seen as a mismatch once more just the same.

    But you would be on here defending Pac vs. drained-to-147-zombie-Cotto II like it was the fight of the decade.:lol:

    I'd be surprised if he couldn't make WW. But then again, I don't really know how much he has grown into SWW.

    No, but he clearly doesnt want to do 147 anymore. Pac would not even let him come in at 150.

    He wanted Cotto nice and drained. :yep

    pacquiao was only 143 in his last fight. 147 is just fair since cotto is not even a big WW. but pac would never get any credit even if he beats cotto again in any weight. also cotto is seen now as someone who has seen too much wars and punishment. bradley is much better for pac's legacy than a shopworn cotto.

    he can make 147 if he needs to. he actually demanded 150 for the margarito and the pacquiao fight. cotto is not even a big WW.

    PAc has no worries on this count , Divac.

    Mayweather has already lost this particular PR battle. Most everybody knows why the fight hasn't taken place yet.

    Floyd's been nervous.

    Or, if you're gullible, he suddenly decided to clean up the sport. :yep


    Floyd is not likely to dispatch the almost-past-it Cotto with as much panache as Pac did to a primer version.


    Pac will probably make a statement against the much more dangerous undefeated Bradley

    And Pac will still have the # 1 p4p spot.

    Floyd will be in no position to demand any more than parity.
