I really dislike how late in the night the big fights start, especially for us East Coast ESBers. Sometimes the bell doesn't ring for the main event until the next day.

And this only contributes to boxing's sleazy reputation. Nothing, but debauchery happens past 11pm.

But what it really comes down to is we actually have to you know, sleep, so that we can wake up and go to work the next morning. I never call off work for fights though the temptation is there. I only did that for Pac and Kovalev fights because I was a massive raging superfan of Pac and Kovalev. Beterbiev is approaching that fandom though.

And when the fights themselves are on the West Coast there is sort of a logic to it, whether or not inconvenient to us. This one is taking place in Montreal, though!
