Show me one fight where Beterbiev showed good inside fighting ability. The whole "Beterbiev is strong on the inside" is a myth. He is best at fighting at distance.
I didn't say Beterbiev has a good inside game, i said Browne HAS NO inside game and you need a good inside game to beat Beterbiev as this is the point where you can hurt him as he didn't like to fight there as we saw vs. Johnson who tried it but failed as he was leaving himself way too open.
Why does Browne need to stay on the inside? Browne is at his best on the outside. On the inside he needs to smother Beterbiev like he did with Jack.
Great video. People really under rate Beterbiev because of inactivity but that man has serious firepower in both hands. I really hope 2019 is his year and he is finally more active.
He doesn't have to stay at the inside BUT he needs to go there sometimes and i simply don't see him beating Beterbiev just on being at the ouside. On the other side i do not think Beterbievs inside game is that weak.
So he can throw a few short hooks on the inside, big deal. What I am talking about is creating angles,openings, smothering the opponent. Dealing with **** Browne pulled vs Jack. Beterbiev never has done anything like it in the pros.

There's a reason I picked Callum Johnson to pull off the upset, although it was a bad decision on my part, I did it precisely because he's NOT featherfisted. He's a very big puncher, with a vastly underrated skillset, and probably the best LHW the UK has to offer. In all likelihood he'd obliterate Buatsi and Yarde. As far as Beterbiev goes, yeah, he's not the second coming, but Browne would be knocked unconscious by Johnson, I'm afraid to see what Beterbiev would do to him.
