Arturo Gatti dead

Not a chance based on last nights antics....

Got a feeling the UFC is trying to have real fights but with a "WWE" feel(good guys and bad guys) - i kind of works with Lesnar's antics generating hate(but also interest)....Henderson took it too far though....

Not saying there haven't been any cavemen/bad guys in a boxing ring, but i'd say a high percentage have respect for past and present opponents - I get the feeling the UFC guys don't give a ****!

 

What did this Lesnar dude actually do? I turned it off after I realised that I was reading the comments instead of watching the 'action'.

 

He refused to touch gloves at the start, then the crowd booed him after the win and he flipped them the bird...that was after he went for Mir again after the bell haha!

Then he said in the post match interview that he loved them booing, and essentially he had shut them up.

He said he was going for a Coors Light coz Bud light(who sponsor UFC) dont give a **** about him, then he said he might get on top of his wife!!!!!!!! (Cant blame him for that, she is Sable!)

He was essentially a WWE heel last night, and he played it to a tee!!

 

I actually think the beer comment was funny

Still dont like UFC or its hooligan participants though !

I thought Lesnar was funny as weel to be honest - but it seemed so set up (his personality), that it comes across more WWE than real life!

 

The part about Mir was funny too you should check that out.

"Frank Mir had a horse shoe up his ass, I took it out and beat him over the head with it" I don't like Lesnar but he is a funny guy

 

Anyhoo less UFC on here, feel we are tarnishing the Gatti thread - a true legend should have a thread devoted to him and him only. We should discuss this UFC stuff along with all the other stuff on the Choi thread.

Can't listen to Thunderstruck by AC/DC now and not think of Gatti, it still has not sunk in at all what has happened. :-(

Has it been on the news in the UK? Just because a few hours ago my stepdad asked me about "that boxer who got murdered" and the only fighters he knows are Hatton, Khan, Calzaghe and Froch.
