True, but just because you refuse to consider context doesn't make the words any less hollow.

Nothing is funny. Mayweather was stuck looking like a fool after the first negotiations. Begging to the press saying "the offer is still available" thinking that the press would pick up the story and pressure Arum. Didn't work. If not for a natural disaster Mayweather would have been screwed.

Obviously you don't. You start with a false statement. Drama started over a 50/50 purse which Arum threatened to walk over. Mayweather agreed. Everything later went smoothly even with Arum making a press release about seeing no reason why this fight won't happen. Pac was strangely unable to be reached by phone, fax, or email. Arum's old ass got on a life threatening plane flight to PI. When he came back? The drama started.

You don't have the historical knowledge to work the math.

Cute, but I have reasonable conversations seamlessly while calling *******s what they are. I am on a few in other threads. Your inconsistencies are beginning to mount. Making you a...

Given the history? It isn't. It is more reasonable for Mayweather to set the date as the Arum clan does NOT negotiate in good faith. Mayweather needs to have a Plan B lined up because Arum does. He has shook Mayweather twice with DISASTEROUS consequences for Mayweather both times. Mayweather attempted to not be drawn in this time by issuing a press ultimatum. Pac even was busted on 24/7 lying. Mayweather was STILL burned. How does that work?

The posters made comments based on reality. You made comments based on the sketchy recall of events you seem to have. No point in responding to Arum. To involve yourself with him on his terms is a fool's game.

Check my post history and I predicted the recent scenario after the last fight. If I was Mayweather I wouldn't do this crap again either. Damned right I am biased against team Pac! All the FACTS are biased against team Pac!

-- 14 days not offered, yes it was, but we are fighting Clottey
-- I agreed to everything, 24/7 saying you OFFERED 7 days which you know won't make the fight.
-- Each lie of Team Pac tears your image down further.

How many times does your hand get slapped until you don't reach in the cookie jar?

I'll admit that I didn't track it completely. The first thing I remember hearing about it was how quickly a deal was seemingly reached and Arum saying only a "few minor details" were in the way.

I dare you to point out my inconsistencies. If I'm wrong about something, point it out and I'll admit it. But just saying I'm wrong isn't good enough.

Fair enough, but we haven't heard Mayweather talk about boxing in a long time. It's perfectly reasonable to want an answer from him soon or move on to another opponent. You can disagree about the choice of opponent once that's done. At the very least, Arum wants to make a show of trying, and so far he hasn't mis-stepped. Intentions / motives are another thing, but so far in this early phase I have no problems.

Hasn't he heard of "stay-busy" fights? Sure, he'll be accused of ducking if he goes for another opponent, but there are plenty of opponents out there that he could fight that people are accusing Pac of ducking. Personally I think the best way to hype a potential matchup is by having more fights, and the "vacation" isn't doing anyone any favors. Given what's happened in the press lately (dubious as the claims are) it certainly hasn't done Floyd any favors. Worst vacation ever.

My recall of events is incomplete, sure. But I haven't really contradicted myself, just weakened my arguments against you personally. And again, I have to argue that reading comprehension is important. Arum allegedly set a date for an announcement from Floyd about whether he'll be free to fight next year. He didn't give a specific date for the fight, he didn't say it had to be to Arum directly. He wanted an announcement. Floyd is free to give that announcement on his own terms, and dictate his own terms, which would be reported by the media. It's just that if he doesn't make such an announcement before Arum's deadline, he won't bother negotiating and will do whatever he wants. It wouldn't hurt Floyd to speak up and say something. It makes him look like the bigger man. Just say that he wants to focus on that drama and at the very least I'd understand. It's a valid excuse. There's always after Pac's next fight.

Nah, I think he's calm in real life...I think he may be a hardworking guy even, just not very well educated...I'm sure he makes sense when you talk to him about other things...the problem is he is very sensitive when it comes to race and things like that, that's why he defends Mayweather even though he looks stupid in the process...
