Good call. Cotto has been inactive since June. If he's out till March next year, that will be 9 months.

He should fight Chavez Jr then fight Margarito! Antonio will need the extra time to heal anyway. Look at the state of him!

I'd really like Cotto to skool Margarito. For the first 6 rounds, Cotto was making Antonio look like an Amateur!

Yeah, i agree with most posters. Tune-up in Feb, Margarito in the summer, then Chavez Jr. after that, then retire.

Margarito vs Cotto simply because they have a score to settle.

chavez jnr will lose to foreman on the undercard anyway. Cotto will beat margarito and probly fight martinez or someone.

To be honest I don't think the bricks mattered much, if ever he was REALLY loaded. I thought Margo won because he pressured Cotto effectively until catching him in the end.

I would choose margarito it is a important fight for cotto and if he wins his carreer is back on track he can finish it with some nice pay days,if he loses to margarito it will seem like margarito never had plaster in that fight but was just better.

Or he picks up mike jones' 147 belt or that other guy at 154 then beats margarito.

I'm pretty sure he can but at this stage in his career I dont think he will go down to 147.

He wont beat margo, he is better but psychologically he wont be able to come back against him succesfully.

What about a rematch of Clottey v Cotto? Settle the score once and for all.

I dont think JCC jr. has done quite enough to earn a big shot. Best win against Duddy, and even if he gets past Gomez, Cotto annihilated him years ago.

I think Margs is done, and is nothing more than a stepping stone for an up-and-comer to put a name on his resume.
