No, and I'm not sure why you would even say this. After his fight against Ortiz, Mayweather was hounded by several media members who all claimed that Pacquiao has agreed to testing. So the media believes Pacquiao has agreed to testing, and Pacquiao and Arum have been telling the fans that it's not an issue. So even if they were bullshitting, it's too late to go back on it now.

The MGM Grand Garden arena is where the fight should take place. The Thomas and Mack Center is a dump.:deal

Arum is the same guy who had a clock running for Floyd to take the fight...

    He virtually did the same.

I've said this from the jump Arum is the biggest reason why this fight hasn't taken place yet. I'm glad finally more people are starting to take notice and see that he's been playing games all along. Neither fighter is scared it's Arum who is getting in the way.

Because I don't want it to be a case of both sides agreeing to the May 5th date and venue, and when the time nears, Floyd's still not happy because he doesn't believe Team Pac have submitted to the tests. So before accusing Arum of not being happy with the venue and date (which is just a little rant that shouldn't be taken too seriously), I think it would be helpful to get a clear answer on the drug testing thing.

The date lines up perfectly with Pac's schedule and is the best date of the yr in the best stadium for boxing. There is no logical reason for Pac not to want to fight at May 5th in MGM grand. This should actually be very enticing to lure any big time dancing partner.

At the same time it doesn't allow Arum to steal that date from you and book something like Pac vs Bradley on that date.

No it wouldn't. Again, the media and the fans already believe that Pacquiao has agreed to testing. That can no longer hold up the fight. If team Pacquiao does use it to hold up the fight again, we'll all know they are a bunch of liars and don't want the fight.

Well it might "outrage" Arum, it was a very good play by Floyd, to get them to be called out by the public on the 12th, and to pre-emptively strike before fat ass Arum signs Pac beforehand ala Marquez.

I want the HBO team to take note of this and put Manny on the spot post-fight on the 12th.
