:think He's a politician. They have to spend lots of cash just to get into power. Just because someone is rich doesn't mean they stop caring about making money. Floyd doesn't want to fight manny right now, so there's nothing wrong with emmanuel making another fight. Why not milk all your worth in boxing before the end of your career? He has businesses to maintain, businesses to start, staff to pay, charity to donate to, fees for future political campaigns, etc. Stop being stupid. It's not funny.

Fight won't happen. Keep wishing for it, but Floyd isn't going to fight Pac. The negotiations will be even worse by next year. Floyd can request anything from bigger purse splits to a a higher catchweight/154, etc. Plus he'll be coming off a year layoff. My whole theory on the Don King thing is Floyd is trying to move to Showtime or he's just going to set up a string of easy paydays. Whatever it is, there's no doubt he's not going to risk his record against a prime Pac. Unless Pac looks unimpressive against Margo, then he'll take him on. That's the only way.
Plus the fact it looks like Pac is serious being a congressman that he now intend on training in the compound where they have sessions. With that I think this would be Pac's last fight, hope I'm wrong though.
Cash is their motive for fighting. Who wants to fight someone who has been training for months just to hurt them for free? emmanuel's biggest payday is on vacation right now, so he's fighting marg for a couple of mil.
I know, I hope he continues to fight too. Floyd is a primadonna and needs to put that aside and just fight Pacquiao. It doesn't make sense that he says he's "not thinking about boxing" yet he hangs with Don King & supposedly visited Cotto's team in PR.
Oh, you're right. I forgot Roach runs Team Pacquiao. He tells Manny and Bob who to fight, at what weight and when. :roll:
I have always said that Roach talks out of his ass. About the only thing I take seriously from him, are his fight predictions.
Floyd might have been hoping for a decisive alexander victory vs kotelnic so floyd could fight him (as a tune up for floyd). Alexander is a fast southpaw. Alexander had good hype prior to the gift win vs kotelnic. Now the lackluster performace of alexander has that not seeming likely. I don't know why he would need don king for anything else. Floyd knows the biz so he don't need king to advise. Floyd definately doesn't want to give don king a piece of his pie, so I just don't know why he is needed unless floyd is talking about future match ups. I think margo was picked so pac wouldn't look bad and have any technical problems shown. A guy like berto could show how to beat pac in a losing effort. Margo doesn't present that problem of exposing technical flaws.
I've said all along this past "negotiation" wasn't a negotiation and both sides were intent on fighting spring of 2011. Glad it's starting to get into the public and I'm looking forward to the fight, PBF wide UD or late stoppage.
