Hmmmm Marquez already fought a welterweight fight against the MOST SKILLFUL fighter in the division. Now Arum wants him to fight the TWO BEST AND MOST SKILLFUL FIGHTERS AT 140LBS...WHILE PACQUIAO FIGHTS THE MOST NON-DEFENSIVE EASY-2-HIT PUNCHING BAGS IN HATTON, COTTO, MARGARITO AND SNORE-FEST MR. LOW WORKRATE CLOTTEY...REALLY?

THE NERVE OF THAT SELFISH AND GREEDY MUTHA'FUKA!!!
NOT TO MENTION THAT FLOYD FOUGHT A FIGHTER THAT "TEAM PACQUIAO" DUCKED/REFUSED TO FIGHT....TWICE.

    WHAT A F***ING JOKE!!!!

Smart move by Bobber. If Marquez walks through one of the young lions then Marquez is a viable and financially decent fight for Manny when Floyd keeps ducking in the spring. On the flip side, if one of the lions wins then Manny has another potentially credible opponent in the spring.

Manny just has to take of his business first.

Do you expect anything less from Bob "In-House" Arum?

Marquez has to prove he can fight at the higher weight. The three opponents mentioned would be all good tests. Marquez even said that the sudden weight gain affected him after his biggest payday for the Pretty One. If he wants to be a legitimate oppponet for Pacquiao at this time he's gotta go through the same tests.

In my opinion the pee drinker will get KO'd. The first two times Pacquiao didn't have a right hook. He definitly has one now and I doubt he wouldn't have trouble landing it. :thumbsup:good

Manny has nothing to gain from everyone then, you feel he clearly outclasses everyone from 154 down.

First of all, that's not true.

Second of all, just cause I feel he outclasses someone doesn't mean he has nothing to gain. Those two things are independant.

Everyone knows that if Pac beats Marquez now, at a division JMM has never fought in (JrWW) or at a division that he's only fought once in and been outclassed (WW), that win will be meaningless and only their first 2 results would matter. And rightly so.

    Exactly.

Oddly enough, the names Arum mentioned are guys he would NEVER put Manny in against. Except Clottey - who Marquez would get zero props for beating.

JMM still has most of his skills but his body is showing its wear and tear alright. He was getting gassed at the end wasn't he? Diaz isn't exactly a scary proposition...

Yeah. I'm surprised why Marquez still begging to fight PAC for the 3rd time. Marquez beat PAC twice. Marquez is only looking to fight boxers he already beaten twice? What a joke. JMM should try to look for new tougher challenges instead of calling out a boxer he already beaten twice.:D

You gotta be mexican to really believe marquez won either of those fights and to believe marquez even has a chance at 140-147 with pac. Ill take alexander by KO and bradley via ud. Im not big on berto. If i was marquez i think he has the best shot at beating berto of the 4.

This is just about the most assanine thing I've heard this guy say. I mean honestly how Manny can be branded as this warrior that takes on all comers and floyd be labbled as a ducker when its clear that short of the biggest fight in boxing (Floyd) Bob arum is actively trying to keep him away from difficult challanges.

The stupidest part about this arguement is that Arum says for this fight to make financial sense Marquez needs to fight at welterwieght:patsch Come on. You can make the arguement that if marquez wants to establish himself as having the same chance he had at Jr. lightwieght against Manny a win at 140 or at 144 lbs (the new welterweight limit:twisted:) a would raise the intreage in this figth. But the idea that it wouldn't sell is rediculous. Especially coming from the guy who is currently trying to sell us on a fight between a convicted cheater who can't get licienced in the states and who in his last meaningful fight was on the ass end of one of the most discusting onesided beatdowns I have ever seen.
