Bradley is his best option out of those, but at 140. He makes enough mistakes and lacks just enough power to make it competitive. Even so, a third fight would spoil the legacy of the first two in my opinion.
JMM is the the king of the 135 lb division that counts for something. And guess what. Being old or not the fighter he once was didn't stop Manny from fighting Mornales a third time. I wonder what the difference here could be:think And as far as what he stands to Gain? Well lets see here a MUCH MUCH lager payday than he made against Clottey and a way larger pay day then he will make against Margacheato. Garaunteed they would do similar numbers to the cotto fight.
what is surprising about this again? Pac and May are at the top of the lot. They can ask for things like this it's not a sin. It even makes sense this time. Not the best but not worse either. Some of you just like to bash people you don't like.
how much credit do you give Pacquiao for beating Morales the third time they fought? Do you think that was a great victory?
It's funny that you say everyone will say that which is far from the truth. People are calling for the fight for a reason. Pac gains more from beating JMM at 140, than margacheato or cotto at 150
Are there anyone here who would be interested in this fight? Seriously? I mean, the fight will have to be above 140 if they want this to be realistic, and we know Marquez is anything but good beyond 135, and Manny has proven to be very effective above it, so it is pretty useless, TBH.
pac already beat marquez in his comfort weight so why would pac gain more from beating him at 140? but, i wanna see pacs improvement against counterpunchers like marquez though so this fight will be more entertaining than fighting marg.
Try to put yourself in a post-fight situation. If Pac dominates JMM at 140, how would most people explain the fact that he did alot better the third time than the first two? I doubt they'll say "Oh Pac was not prime when they fought at 126 and 130, that's why"
I actually agree with Philla a bit here.... Pac will recieve little credit for beating JMM no matter how he does it, he could go out there and stop Marquez, people will say well he should have done that, jmm was smaller (now), fading and he just barely got done losing every minute to Pacs 'rival' Mayweather, and if JMM gives Pac trouble once again, then its a shitstorm, with Mayweather saying 'isnt this the guy who couldnt win a round against me?' If i was Pac, i would go after Williams, Bradley, or actually get in the ring with Mayweather.
Arum really has a point. Marquez haven't showed yet that he can bang with the top guys at 140 and above. JMM needs to beat one of the contenders at this higher weight class (maybe a fight against Clottey at 147?) before calling out the top dog.
