As a GGG fan I think his offer to Ward for a 164 catchweight is ridiculous

So why then did Team Triple Duck want a 164lb catchweight to fight Ward for his LINEAL and WBA 168lb titles?

 

I didnt say it was. Read his post. He said it was ON GGG to move up to 168. And I replied like it was on Ward to move up to Dawson?

I want to be sure you are understanding me. If it is a non title money fight, I dont care about CW. So in that instance 164 at a 50/50 split seems legit. Go back and read it. I then qualified that with:

UNLESS it was for the 168 titles, then it should be at up to 168 limit

I said if it was just a money fight I don't care about CW and 64 would seem fair and meeting in the middle--IF it was for the full 168 titles, then it should be fought at up to the limit of 168. Either guy is free to weigh in UP to the limit of 168. I thought I had made myself clear on this several times now.

The fight's been treated as the endgame by both parties- if the money available there isn't enough to justify a cash-out for both, it's not going to happen. Should GGG and Ward continue to increase their star power, we'll see the fight. Money talks. It just needs to get louder before these guys get persuaded.

Ok..So I've reviewed several articles from back then and I see no mention of Wards 168 titles being on the line if this fight was at 164. So do you have any I formation that says that was part of K2s offer?
