Assign each other homework, ie: Hey, circle back to "X vs. Y", you need to score this fight ASAP!

Very often somebody (frequently @CST80 in my case, and lately @George Crowcroft nearly as much) will say, "Hey IB, score _____ when you get a chance" and I sort of nod in good faith thinking I'll get around to it...but then it gets lost in the shuffle of life and I don't. Likewise my appeals to peers to view &/or score fights of interest get overlooked, even when agreed to, with doubtless the best of intentions but sometimes no follow-through on the agreement.

Not that a thread like this is going to guarantee compliance on such matters (or cause any of us to magically have an influx of expendable time for relatively non-critical endeavors), but at least if this is getting regularly added to and bumped, it will serve to remind folks of what's on 'their list', and perhaps increase the odds they'll check things off here & there with them fresh in memory.

I have the apartment to myself (and the cats) for the next several hours, am caught up on homework, and for once have naught to do but a couple of loads of laundry. In other words,

(because somehow people are never able to grasp very straightforward concepts around here and invariably muddy up my threads with drawn out misconstruances and explanations of what is clearly spelled out in the OP. )

• Tag a poster, giving them a fight to watch. That's all! Do not pester them, "but I tagged you in the homework thread; it's been thirty seconds, why haven't you responded or begun your RBR of it???" - don't be a weirdo. People are doing their best. If you really want their particular opinion regarding a match, set them up with the best chance of recalling that you asked by depositing said request in here...and then leave them be, until they get around to it.

You can put your RBR scorecard responses in here, or use a separate thread (like the what fights did you watch today\scorecard thread in Classic), or if you're feeling vainglorious you can do your own following the "IB's standalone" format.

 

Oh and if you're being unkind enough to batch-dump a massive workload on someone, indicate which fight or two is highest priority (on which you're most curious to get their viewpoint) and be cognizant that, like a kid writing Santa, you might not get everything you ask for.
