My answer to your question is an emphatic NO , Belfort has quick hands but is so many levels below Anderson in the stand up department its almost a mis match IMO . Belfort has been out for so long now it would be an injustice to give Belfort a shot as soon as he's fit just off the back of a quick KO of Rich Franklin (not dismissing that win by any means but a title shot requires 4 wins , 2 of which need to be wins against top level solid opposition) Belfort doesnt match that criteria IMO , i beleive Belcher is ahead of Belfort !!!! I think Wanderlei Belfort once Vitor is back makes the most sense , and once Silva has done Chonnen , the big one , Shogun Silva , providing Shogun beats Rashad !!!!
Exactly. Silva didn't have to showboat to convince the audience or the fans that he could beat this guy. No matter how much people hyped Maia's BJJ, we all knew he had no shot at beating Silva. NONE.
