    1. RRJ
    2. Floyd
    3. Pac
    4. JC - hard to say as he didn't really fight any top quality prime fighters

**** IT...I have to...this post is just too dumb and biased.

    Really???

Like Eubank, who started his career at JMW? Or Reid, who started at JMW? Or Woodhall, who started his career at JMW? Or Brewer, who started at MW? Or Jimenez, who started at MW? Or Pudwill, who started at WW? Or Ashira, who spent most of his career at JMW? Or Bika, who started his career at MW? Or Manfredo, who started his career at JMW (and was on the MW version of the contender)? HELL CALZAGHE HIMSELF EVEN FOUGHT AS HIGH AS LHW EARLY IN HIS CAREER (do you even know anything about your own fav fighter???)!!!

    DEFINATELY HOLDS UP YOUR POINT!!!!!

    :patsch

And Johnson, and Jackson, and Echols (twice), and Vanderpool, and Lipsey, and Holmes, and Eastman, and Joppy, and Tarver, and Wright etc... As well as arguably Taylor (most people feel he won both of those fights...fighters, trainers, announcers, judges, fans, press, etc...history will be kind to Bernard on these, much like it has been to Hagler for Leonard) and arguably Calzaghe (tho I had Joe winning...and judging by your obvious bias...I am sure that you had Joe winning by KO or something).

BUT AGAIN....DEFINATELY HOLDS UP YOUR POINT!!!

    :patsch

Trinidad didnt belong at 160...yet he had just DESTROYED the number 3 MW in the world like noone ever had before...and noone has since. He was also HEAVILY favored in the fight. Hindsight is 20/20 huh???

    :patsch

This goes back to your ridiculous first post...but let me school you a bit on a fighter you obviously know nothing about.

Hopkins started his career at LHW...a weight he later admitted was WAY too high for him. He felt he did not hold the weight well at all...so he worked himself down to MW where he stayed for 15 years...when he just simply could not make 160 anymore due to age making it near impossible to comfortably be a MW anymore. Stating before the first Taylor fight that he could no longer do 160 and was moving up right afterward, only staying because he (along with most others) felt he won...

So Hopkins is a natural LHW in your eyes (seeing as how that was the basis of your arguement of him beating smaller men)...but the ones I mentioned earlier for Joe were the same size as him???? Hmmmmmm, makes total sense.

    :patsch

Please name ONE journeyman that a PRIME Hopkins had a real close decision with???

He dominated EVERY SINGLE FIGHTER HE STEPPED IN THE RING WITH since winning the MW title. Its so obvious that you know NOTHING about Hopkins career.

    :patsch

Yes he beat Tarver...call him overrated if you want. But he was the MAN at LHW when Hopkins faced him (if you disagree with this...your more insane then I originally thought)...Hopkins had just spent a decade and a half at MW...jumped 2 weight classes at the age of 41...didnt take a tune up...and DOMINATED him. If this isnt impressive to you, I do not know what is.

I really dont like decimating someones post like this...but there was not ONE line in it that made any sense...or at least was consistant in your feelings about Calzaghe.

I myself LOVE Joe Calzaghe. He is one of my all time fav fighters...has been since the Eubank fight. I think his resume is SO MUCH better then he gets credit for. His accomplishments are phenominal. His skill level is phenominal. BUT, he was no where NEAR as dominant, as "invicible" (tho I dont feel ANY fighter is truely "invicible") or as great as Jones or Hopkins were in their primes. Its not a knock on Joe...because my god do I respect what he has done in his career (more so than most on here)....just a testament to how great those two truely were.

Try doing some research on Hopkins career next time, before you put your foot (or keyboard more accurately) in your mouth again.

I don't think any of these aformentioned boxers were quite "invincible" in their primes, but they were close.

I'm going to say Floyd Mayweather jr., at lightweight. He was too fast and too slick for most at that weight, and was a real sight to see.

I wasnt going to at first either...hense why I made the original post just calling it basically "dumb"...but because I actually quoted it, it made me have to read it again. And then...I just...I mean...can a post be MORE inaccurate or biased???

I think CHJ would have even grimmaced reading that thing.

Prettyboy is one hateful biatch, but he's near invincible with his cat-quick defensive reflexes. RJJ close second..
