ATG's that suffered an early defeat like Khan

    He's not an ATG, but could be comparable to, say, Frank Bruno who was KO'd by Bonecrusher Smith.

    That is to say if he improved, I can only imagine his peak would be about Bruno level no higher

    didnt henry armstrong lose like 3 of his first 4? including a ko loss?
    different times though,an undefeated record counts for alot nowdays

    pacman lost by ko I believe early in his career! (don't know if he will be atg but sure he is champ)
