Atmosphere @ wembley last night

With the band playing throughout the fight, plenty of chanting / singing etc, It came across as a great atmposhere - seems like George has kept a decent fanbase. With that in mind I think he easily sells out the o2 for a world title fight should dirrell grow some balls and fight him.

Would also now love to see de-gale rematch

It was quite a good atmosphere last night, i noticed a few empty seats by me, but he has definitely gained a few fans

 

Sounded too much like an england game

 

The atmosphere was very forced, without the band (which spoiled the fight for me) the crowd would have been very flat. When the band weren't playing you could hardly hear anyone in the crowd.

 

if he sticks with that band he will start losing fans

 

Certainly better than the Quigg fight I went to in Manchester. Now that was dead.

 

The band was doing my head in, organic atmosphere>trying to force one by having a great big band

 

band play the same old song over and over again just like what happens at england games lol

 

It wasn't as good as Russ Abbott's "Atmosphere".

 

Very good atmosphere.

The 2 fights with Froch have massively raised his profile.

Expect more noise and a bigger crowd should he land himself another world title shot.

Personally I enjoyed the band, it added something different to the fight. Also thought the atmosphere was good when they weren't playing as well. Just can't please some people.

 

I like Groves and the atmosphere was decent but the band did my head in. After the ring walk they should have been gone. I'll bet Buffer was pissed off when they were playing through his intro
