We have been robbed of the real glory night by the BBBofC, though - I wanted a unification fight for the WBU-WBF titles. From memory I think I thought it was close but Harrison nicked it... but I have only seen it once, at the time.
Will have to watch it again but from memory Rogan was the clear winner. Audley would have won if he hadn't of been too lazy to throw a punch. There was an interview with Audley afterwards and I think he acknowledged that he was up against a rough tough guy and had lost the fight but was still one step closer to a world title.
Yes, sorry, you are right - he said something like 'it almost clicked tonight'. Yes, I had Rogan winning but felt like Audley blew it. He had the higher quality work, just not much of it. Seemed terrified that he was going to gas. I did have Rogan winning by a couple, thanks for the memory promt. I'm 37 and suddenly feel old..!
No bother pal, I remember this fight quite well because I tried to put a bet on Rogan on betfair before the fight started but for some reason they weren't accepting anymore bets on the fight. It was the same night as Khans first fight after the Prescott defeat and it was the night after McCloskey beat Lynes for the British title
