No matter what the Haye camp are saying I have a suspicion they're overlooking Ruiz to an extent. All the promotion for this fight is about David Haye as if its an open training session, not about a Haye-Ruiz fight. I wont be upset or consider it a wasted weekend if Haye comes in out of shape and Ruiz pulls it off. Ruiz will bring a lot more than Barrett did, thats for sure
Haye's on the front of the new Sky mag that just came through my door, think the article is old though.
They're talking about Ruiz being the Ruiz of old. The one that uses the jabs and boxes a bit more. That better not be the case because if he doesn't try to use the same old techniques he always does, and goes in trying to box, he's going to get sparked out.

let's be real now. he hardly looks fat there. Just a little bloated. you can still see all the defintion is there. It's silly speculating, because we all know he is gonna turn upto the weigh in looking ripped and trim. Just wait until next friday!
He didn't even turn up for the presser the day before the weigh-in. They all thought it was cos he was frantically trying to make weight. Then he turns up to the weigh-in drinking water. Hook. Line. Sinker. This will be his games again. Without a shadow of doubt.
I did notice when they went live to the workout that they immediately took Hayes t-shirt off. At the time I thought it seemed strange especially seeing has Haye looked a bit of a porker. Then Darke immediately started banging on about Haye not taking it seriously and living too much the celebrity lifestyle. Head games is very likely with the modern media outlets
I think the angle of th shot above makes Haye look a little worse than he is in reality, though it doesn seem strange for him to be in that kind of state. How long ago was it taken? two weeks or so?
Are then any recent pics of Haye floating about? everyone seems to keep commentating on his physique.
