    Not for PEDs, but for marijuana. Lopez's promoter wants to get him stripped.

    And I was starting to like the guy as well, he's still largely unknown but has good skills, and Lopez was a very tough opponent.

    No way should he be stripped for smoking a bit of weed. But he should have known better.

    I'm pretty sure athletes damage their bodies far more with the booze than someone who puffs a bit would. It's obviously completely out ofd the question, but weed shouldn't be a banned substance.

    its not even doping and doesn´t help slightest bit to enhance the performance at all its rather the opposite i don´t get why thats a banned substance anyway

    why is weed even banned its not like you benefit from it when fighting or training.

    Because it's an illegal drug and sport in general is supposed to take a stance against such things. It shouldn't be an illegal drug, but c'est la vie.

    I agree, why do they even bother testing for weed? I'd understand testing for caffeine before thc.

    Just to show you how jacked up boxing can be, Mike Tyson got fined 100k for smoking weed while James Toney only had to pay 10k for a post fight failed steroid test.
