I'm pretty sure athletes damage their bodies far more with the booze than someone who puffs a bit would. It's obviously completely out ofd the question, but weed shouldn't be a banned substance.

Because it's an illegal drug and sport in general is supposed to take a stance against such things. It shouldn't be an illegal drug, but c'est la vie.
