Who takes this? I say Trout wears him down over 12 rounds to earn a closer-on-the-scorecards-than-it-really-was UD What about you? And you and you? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=neCP_xu18k8[/ame]
Trout's good but he will always look better against pressure fighters I think Mayweather will counter him all night I dont expect Mayweather to go forward because of the height and reach difference
I'm intrugued by this match up. Like Martinez, Trout is bigger than Mayweather and slightly awkward. I think he can present problems to Mayweather that no one in the 147-154 range can. In the end I think Mayweather wins a clear decision.
It will never happen, Mayweather don't give away them kinda odds in size and strength. It don't make sense.:bbb
Austin Trout's stocks are soaring since he dispensed with Cotto. 25-0 and pre-Cotto nobody would have picked Trout to beat Mayweather. Not sure if he could beat Mayweather myself. But Floyd will fall away soon and it might be a matter of timing as much as anything else.
Trout one of the few that can hang with Floyd at long range, but Floyd will adapt and walk down putting pressure on Trout. Cotto did what he wanted with Trout at close range, but he gassed and instead of putting non-stop pressure he opted to box and at times beat Trout at his own game. It would be highly competitive, but Floyd would have him on the verge of stopping him. The prefight press conference would be fun I dont think Trout would respect Floyd like he did Cotto. Floyd isn't as done as Cotto is.
That probably how I see it at the moment too. But in a year or 18 months time it could pan out differently.
Floyd is way to smart to fight Trout. I still can't understand why Cotto fought him. If it did occur, I can see Floyd pot-shotting and bicycling his way to a UD...that is if he still has his legs.
