I remember watching Jeff Fenech's fight nights. Although Jeff is a dodgy ******* he did a lot to bring up some talent and promote the hell out of them. Years ago when the Hussy brothers, Hamdan, Darch, Green and others were still totally unknown. Jeff would fly over a lot of south east asian fighters, guys who had no chance whatsoever, and use them as tomato cans to pad his fighter's records. While it was pretty disgraceful, it must have worked cause a lot of his fighters went on to be reasonably competitive on the world stage. It's true that his fighters were protected as hell and got heaps of hometown decisions. You could always tell who would win a fight before it began.
I think most people here saw it and despise Billy Dib. He is a clown and thinks he is much better than he really is. Mundine and Green were good. I just had hoped Mundine had a bit more heart to venture outside of Oz...
