Agreed mate, I think that Browne v Paul Gallen would be a fair match these days.

It would be a very tough test, no doubt about it. But if Junior Tszyu wants to become world champion, he needs to pass tough tests while on the way up.

It wasn't that long ago that Lucky Boy was retired & inactive.

He has a fantastic record though. He has only ever been beaten on points and only by opponents who themselves were unbeaten at the time he fought them.

Lucky Boy went 18 and 0 in his first four years as a pro based in Australia & has gone 10 and 4 over the next nine while based in America. What his pro record doesn't show though is all the hard rounds he would have sparred with world class opposition while based in America.

Would love to see him back out here teaching Junior Tszyu a few tricks of the trade in a professional fight.

Maybe the only way he can get some real money now and I'd even favor Gallen...

Never seen Tapia. MAJ would beat guys like Quinlan and Jade Mitchell. Maybe even Jerkic at this point. MAJ is only 22 I think, so still pretty green. He had Foley's number in a big way and showed a good chin vs him. Foley has a bit of a punch and he ate the lot of em up. Mose has a big punch himself and is only getting better since the Jones fight on the Parker/AJ undercard

The word going around is that Tim Tszyu has tested positive to a banned substance in the post fight drug test.

He be to raw for Jerkic fair few people know Jerkic can fight a reason why some Aussie boxer'dont soar him Hotel is one of em few more but I won't say . Look how tough Rocky is that Andos hit rocky wit everything Jerkic was his toughest to date , I thought Jerkic would do more But he did good when U think about it Jerkic beat Mark Lucas 6 month ago his only fight before that Jerkic never had a fight for 3 year's that's probably da reason why he could not fire up probably bit rusty . it was just not enough of a preparation to get your timing fine tune for a big Bout ..Rocky should be firering in his next fight if he has a fight at year's end
Will more in tune with timeing . Jerkic did start to fire back a little then round 9 an 10 Jerkic timeing was started to come back a bit put some good shots together made Andos bit careful when he hit . Andos was good he never let up . Da other middleweight on da same night Tapia or da other lad will not fight Adnos I reckon . Anyway just sticking for Jerkic for taking that fight a man toughest fight of that night 3or4 bout's in a year before I would of took that fight lols ... Rocky beleaves in himself must of thought he can win this . He just have to stay active now . Buy da way he has done this without signing a contract that is why he been all over Australia when they can't get him to sign contract after a fight or two well the door gets closed he moves on he beat shaggy 4or5 years back he was tell me all this . I ask how come U only had 2 fight in da Mundine gym , he spars Anthony an Anthony Mundine never did again da lime lite was swinging Rocky's way so to be where Jerkic is today without signing a contract . He would not own a house if he had signed. .. U get more fight if U sige a contract but U will make less money because everyone around U will take bigger slice'ers an U will get da small piece that is left . If I had
    m
spere I would few to Sydney watch all fight live I like Jerkic's style .

Jai Opetia needs fights to get to a higher level Jai went awhile wit no fights , bouts falling through Jai look a bit Rusty in his last fight so he needs one this year one early next year an keep it going keep it no good missing a hole year ya timeing slips to long wit out a fight .. well I hope these boxer's don't go da Akkawy
Way throwing in to Fast be Lied to even Canleo team Lied to Akkawy saying your good U got this we will do for U ok Yeah used Akkawy for a easy sparing buddy for Canleo easy one for Canleo get less damage da favour return get Akkawy a minar world title shot But Don't tell Akkawy that you won't win it that's why we feeding U bull crap no hard feeling.
Where Akkawy now , he lost so easy maybe he retired hard to get over a big loss like that being toll how good U are .now Akkawy mite think that he can't box deadly . Hope Akkawy comes back boxing he not bad just got pushed to Fast buy his Dad an Canleo s Team . Be very cautious because in boxing there is always someone or somebody that will cut U out of da game . Was done to Hector Lopez here in Australia Hector was having his second bout in Australia his first fight was on da under card of Kostya to tell U da truely I was down there an anyway Hector won his fight an da crowd went mad as a.. Kostya won his fight crowd went Mad again But Hector Lopez crowd were more louder then after win . Hector was told buy da trainer an team an there Doctor told Hector I'm sorry but U can't fight because your HIV positive , now that was done to get rid of him Hector was back In USA drinking use ing drugs Neely 3 year's pass Hector decided to go cee da doctor to cee how far advance stage was . That's when Hector Lopez found out that he was not HIV positive went back to boxing won a few then lost 3 year's on drugs an alcoholic it was to much he quit that's how he got his life change don't think he could stop drug drinking got better of him
Not long after found in da street dead or maybe in a car he was found can't remember sorry . . Hector was a very good boxer RIP Man .. before Australia Kostya fought Hector Lopez in da USA Kostya won by split decision . So they never had fight number 2 that all info I'll give out .. nobody ask who were they . Cause I won't say .that is how nice people are in da boxing world .. they must of thought Hector was Gunna make moneys go away from em an taking ad lime lite away from Kostya team Team is what take all da big slice's . How people look after there pocket's . Pro boxer's in Australia an NZ keep your mind open for da dangerous tug's

so u people think meehan is not up to beating browne but gallen is?

thats funny cause gallen has publicly stated he won't fight meehan cause he is far too good, lol.

seems like some on here who r uninformed do underestimate willis meehan.

I was impressed with Tapia on Wednesday night. He looks like he can really amount to something.

There's an unwritten rule in boxing that you don't match genuine prospects with big punchers though so that may rule the Kiwi out as an opponent for him.

It's a fight I'd like to see though. Maybe if an Australia v New Zealand show ever gets off the ground.

I'd favour Tapia as his skill set looks significantly better. You can't rule out the guy with the big punch though.
