    I'm hearing ya babsarelli.

On paper does seem a bit farcical but maybe think of it like a masters series, where both guys are playing in the over 40's.

J-dubbaya is in amazing shape for his age and is fight fit.
Having stripped down for the Kickboxing fight that many felt he deserved to win.

Not exactly like the old Mundine-Ellis debacle where Les had to come down from a David Boonesque size.

That venue doesn't make sense to me but maybe some of the old kickboxing fraternity from the early 00's might come out to help fill it..hopefully not to many bikies.

Picking Parr for the upset, think he will be outclassed early but come back mid fight.

Parr's got a lot of miles in a different style, given enough time we will see how well he adjusts for this.

Parr should take a boxer on in Muay Thai or K-1 after this fight it's only fair. I nominate Jeff Horn - He seems to take a lot of influence from tactics utilized in those sports.

Yeah two 40+ year olds fighting each other is so bad lol.....In reality this is just another fight in the domestic Aussie model that Buster seems to be a big fan of. No real interest in it but no issue either(unless they charge a disgraceful amount for it) Not like any of these guys are anywhere world titles.

No one will want to go near Jeff Horn now after two defeats. His name wont necessarily embellish one's resume, but his rough-house, unorthodox tactics will still make him a nasty fight for anyone - especially in Australia.

    Wakey, wakey Team Australia.

As predicted exclusively right here, Justis Huni whooped that seeded Colombian. 5-blot.

Show us the shiny medal! Yeah baby!

Get ready to rule the world at SHW! He faces Nigel Paul from Trinidad & Tobago next. I watched Paul's fight with the Turk & he's tall & long. Not an easy fight but I think Justis is a lot sharper.

Harry Garside through to the next round yesterday at Light Welter. Picked up a cut that puts the rest of his campaign in doubt. Faces a Russian tonight if cleared to fight.

The Kiwi David Nyika had a good win yesterday also. Faces a Russian next. Beating Russians in Russia in this tournament is going to be like getting gold out of Fort Knox, but we can hope.

Good Morning Boys & Girls from Lands Down Under. And what a damn fine morning it is.

Can you smell that? It's the sweet scent of overnight victory as our man Justis Huni does it again at the World Amateur Championships in Russia. Sends that Trinidad & Tobagon packing with a big RSC. Dropped & stopped him in the second. One more win for our man Justis & we're in the medals. I don't think we're just looking at a bronze here though guys. I think we're going all the way & are set to crown our first ever World Amateur Champion in senior competition. In the blue riband Super Heavyweight division no less. What a great achievement for a 20-year old that will be. He needs to beat the bloke from Azerbaijan next to qualify for the semis. Another win there & it's onto the gold medal match.

Get ready to celebrate glory for Australian boxing!

Not so good news for our Commonwealth games gold medalists, Harry Garside & the Kiwi David Nyika. They both drew Russians in Russia and lost by decision. Harry lost by a 4/1 split decision. Good experience for them though winning fights at the World Amateur championships & only losing on points to hometown guys.

I thought when i heard Benn was coming back that it was a joke, hopefully i'm wrong but hearing confirmation that he is going to fight Bika has me concerned for his health.
I don't like seeing warriors like Benn risking there health anymore but if fighters that age are going to do it,they should be matching them with guys of a similar age and level,Bika is obviously not the fighter he was but we know he still doesn't **** around and is still extremely dangerous fighter who Benn has no business being in the ring with.
Eubank sr is still in amazing condition and even though i don't want to see it,it would have been far more appropriate fight for Benn if really feels the need to fight again

Blake Caparello will be fighting Joshua Buatsi on November 3rd. I like Blake he has been an underrated Aussie fighter for years. He fears nobody he got in with a prime Kovalev a few years back and got stopped unfortunately I think he will be getting stopped by Buatsi who I believe is one of the best prospects in boxing right now.

Whoever sanctioned this should be on trial. If Benn really wants to fight why not match him with another geriatric? There has been too many deaths in the sport, boxing does itself no favours with BS like this.

Yet you had no problem with Jeff Horn weight draining and adding re hydration clauses against 43 year old Mundine. You were also keen to see young Tszyu Jnr fight 42 year old shot Zab Judah.
