Wayne Parr will leave it all in the ring I hope Mundine keeps moving and boxing even though they aren't at prime this could still be a decent scrap

Dunno if ppl know or not, I just stumbled across it myself...
Fair few venues showing tonights card suprisingly...
Venues can be found at betteratthepub.com.au as not on usual foxsports venue finder as DDP stream not main event....

Massive massive Parr fan... No predictions tho

    * Top Rank had Tim Tszyu slated to challenge for the world title in second quarter of
2020. Those plans went out the window after Golden Boy Patrick Teixeria a huge
underdog won the vacant interim WBO title. After what happen to Hogan i understand
the reluctance of Tszyu camp to enter into negotiations with Golden Boy.
    * Brubaker a natural WW expects Tszyu to be up to 8 kg heavier by the time they
    enter the ring.
    * Zerafa payday for Horn rematch 600 k.
    * Mckean vs Browne deal has been done and fight signed. Expect the winner to head
to UK to fight David Price.
    * John Wayne Parr career definitely ended as he is set for a hip replacement.
    * Bud on Daniel Lewis " He is a very good fighter. Young , hungry and determined.
A work in progress, with lots of potential. " High praise indeed.

Good to see Lewis over in the states a pity for Tim the new champ is with golden boy I'm not sure he's ready yet for world title shot yet hard to gauge him really until he fights a top international but he's coming along in my opinion as for Browne fight even though he's on the downward spiral still has that power if he can handle southpaw I think he's a chance looking forward to this weekends boxing Ruiz paying good $$$ for knock out I expect my beer fridge to be over flowing Sunday nights

Might be a blessing in disguise for Tim the Toolman that Carlos Adames lost. He's not ready for a world title shot yet but I would have said 'go for it' if Chairman Bob was willing to bring the WBO champ out here.

Tszyu has sparred both Manny & Alexander Besputin, the two WBA Welter champs, this year so he'd know what the standard is to be in with a world champ. He just needs to get the quality of his own opposition up a bit in order to be ready to take that further big step up.

I'd like to see him in with the Kiwi, Bowyn Morgan, next fight after Brubaker. Just like I'd to see Jai Opetaia in with David Light. Establish yourself as the best from around here before taking on the best in the world.

Both Kiwis would be very tough fights for our guys, I reckon. But that's the next logical step on their path towards a world title fight. I'd be inclined to let them fight for world titles after that if the right opportunity came up (i.e. a title shot in Australia against a beatable champ).

I agree Tszyu Jnr is not ready, he is only what 25? He should wait another 2 years maybe 3 there should be no rush because even if he won the belt he would have to then deal with tough defense's. After he smashes Brubaker he should look at guys like Sam Eggington, James Kirkland or Rabchenko for his next fight.

Really, I'm a little surprised cause I think McKean is going to get KTFO the first time he actually steps up..

Browne might be shot to bits but McKean throws pitty patter which I don't think will keep Browne at bay. .

Funny Price is still getting stiffs feed to him still, show his popularity in the UK or Eddie owes him some easy fights for some good coin....

Yep McKean couldn't even KO the glass jawed 44 year old Roger Izon the corner stopped it in the 4th and Izon was coming off almost a 10 year hiatus. McKean will not be able to hurt Browne to the head he will have to target the body but I think McKean is to upright and Browne will eventually land a clean hard shot on him and likely stop him.

Wasn't it only a year or so ago you were telling us Brubaker was the best welterweight in australia?

Anyone who follows boxing knows that a lot can change in a year and this fight is at 154
Tszyu has improved and Brubaker is on the slide. I will be there on Friday night hope to see you there pal.

Brubaker was always below the best and you made the ridiculous comment not long after he got KO'd and when Horn was world champ.
Wasn't planning on heading down for what should be an easy win for Tszyu but you never know your luck;)

Nope I made the comment before Brubaker was stopped on a cut at the Star. Brubaker had a good win in Japan and that is when I made the comment. I thought you were ignoring me these days but I guess you couldn't help yourself and started flaming again trying to stir **** up.

You can make all the excuses you want but the facts are Brubaker was never close to being the best welterweight in the country, with Horn world champion at the time clear number 1 with Brubaker below a couple of guys at the time.
