This would have been a mistake as Bivol is a destroyer and could have ruined promising but green hard hitting Bilal. However according to Bilal manager . Bilal is certain to make his USA debut later this yr. Bilal spent time earlier this yr in USA when he joined Canelo Alvarez camp as a sparring partner to help him prepare for Golovkin rematch. Bilal must have impressed as if the rematch once goes ahead Bilal will join Alvarez camp once again in Aug.

I hope so b/c Colomban is the right opponent for Tszyu & as defending champ it will be a good payday for him.

He may only be able to use one arm though b/c it's been suggested that the other is completely stuffed.

I felt so embarrassed for Australia when the Horn kid tried to cheat and weigh in heavy then blame the nsac for dodgying up the scales. Horn is WAY bigger than the Crawford kid and he wanted to cheat even more.

Horn fluked a trinket by cheating against a tiny washed up legend in Pacquaio.

Yes, well done to Bud Crawford. Far too good in the fight capital of the world. Our man Jeff not good enough but he's done astonishing well in a short space of time to go as far as he has.

Very important fight for Kris George. If he can hang onto that Commonwealth title he would be a good comeback opponent for Jeff Horn if Horn stays at welterweight.

Lenny Zappa is another guy who I think would be a good comeback opponent for Horn. In fact, given his additional seasoning, I think he'd make an excellent opponent for Jeff.

Not sure they'll take Horn up to 154. Just b/c he missed weight on the scales over there doesn't necessarily mean he had that much trouble making it.

If he does move up in weight, Michael Zerafa is the Commonwealth champ. Presumably he wouldn't contemplate fighting stablemate Dennis Hogan.

I get that Horn will want to get back in the mix with top class American opponents but they need to get him back on the winner's list against respectable opposition first.

 

Flanagan vs. Opetaia sounds nice; I'd set my alarm early to get up for that.
