Whats everyone thoughts on this weekends fights? Specifically the wilder-fury 3 card? I'm usually not to fussed about heavyweight centric billings but the card has filled out nicely with some pretty good matchups.
Brock Jarvis is fighting Alejandro Frias Rodriguez (13-4) on the Mikey Garcia under card on DAZN on 17/10
The card should be entertaining Helenius Kownack and Ajagba Sanchez should be entertaining both will likely end in a KO. I hope that Fury beats the brakes off of Wilder again and I think he will but as we all know you can never count the big Dosser out with his sledgehammer right hand.
looking forward no.3. fury coming in in heavier on purpose a smokescreen for not being fit enough i wonder? will it be easier now for wilder to land a bomb?
Hoping for some real carnage on Sunday (our time). Want to see blokes get skittled like ten-pins. And I want to see blokes who are outsiders doing it. Big Efe & Neon Deon Tay are my big hopes. Even that Nordic Nightmare bloke. I'll take him as well. Come on, boys. Crank up the right arm & let it rip. I want to see them drop the hammer, Tommy Hearns-style. Seeing heads hit the canvas will make for a very relaxing & enjoyable Sunday afternoon.
It’s actually a decent card. Will be my first time watching Jared Anderson who I’ve heard a lot about, Ajagba v Sanchez and Kownacki v Helanius should be good and short.. also get to see J-Rock have his comeback fight after losing the belts. Solid line up to watch before Wilder v Fury.
Forgot about J-Rock. Not sure if he's on the PPV portion of the show or if he'll appear late-morning our time prior to. There's also a bunch of well matched British Junior Middles going around very early on Sunday morning. I think we get those fights as well. I like watching good calibre overseas Junior Middles in action so I can work out what round Timmy Tool Train would starch them in.
anybody else surprised that new zealand doesn't have more heavyweight contenders given how many big boppers they'd have over there? obviously union and league are the main sports but you'd think there'd be more capable boxers after having david tua and then joseph parker as prominent sports figures there.
I'm not up to speed with the aussie broadcast rights etc. However why is fox sports still showing matchroom shows and dazn australia not? For instance Fowler v Smith this weekend. Any info on when matchroom will be exclusively on dazn in Australia?
Just answered your own question. There's so few competition and therefore skill level is pretty rat****
Feel like we are getting a bit gipped (sic) on the PPV. 45 mins before it starts and most of the card is over.
