Looks like they are getting things moving for the first half of year.

First two finalised shows are pretty solid. Be interested to see what else they come up with.

Really looking forward to that 2 March show. We've been starved of local action throughout summer. Not the programmers fault, they had shows lined up but they've fallen through. Keen to see TOT (The Other Tszyu) debut & a couple of the undercard fights. Wade Ryan v Dennis Hogan will be good (if scored fairly) while Liam Wilson is up against it but he does have the advantage of fighting at home. Will be a good night, I reckon. TOT is going to be under the spotlight. Tim didn't face anyone with a winning record in his first 6 & also fought mostly on undercards. TOT is headlining first up & facing a bloke with a winning record.

Latest on Timmy is that his fight on 19 March won't go ahead on that date but they're trying to reschedule it for a week later on another show. They're still committed to fighting in the US which I think is a good move. If they can get that one under his belt, he could go again on the Charlo v Castano undercard when it's rescheduled. Getting a couple of fights in over there against decent opposition before a title tilt would be ideal.

Disappointing to hear Foxtel / Main Event aren't taking that fight. If that's Zerafa's punishment for pulling out of the Tool Train fight, I hope it's a one-off & not an on-going thing. Zerafa doesn't have a history of pulling out of fights & there were obviously some extenuating circumstances leading up to the fight with Timmy. He was getting called up to Sydney regularly for promos when it probably wasn't required.

It's also a harsh punishment for the Headsplitter who Foxtel have heavily promoted. This is the biggest fight of his career. Epicentre is a reliable platform but they won't do the numbers Foxtel or Main Event would have.

Tim Tszyu is listed on the PBC website as one of their fighters.

Yeah I am surprised by this as well. Like you said Foxtel have been putting Hardman on their shows on the reg and now his biggest fight they will not be televising. Stan Sports might be smart to jump on this fight.

Interesting. I think Junior's Australian promoters might have gone overseas & come to an arrangement with PBC. I guess Timmy will fight on PBC shows in North America while pursuing the belts. And perhaps afterwards if he wins them. Presumably his Australian promoters will get a slice of the local PPV money along with Foxtel/Main Event & Timmy himself. Not a great time to be launching a professional career in the US with a Russian surname. May need to revert to the Australian spelling of it - Zoo.

It's on the prelim portion of the card.

Possible it may not get aired?

I just happened to be at work tonight and on crib when Demsey's fight kicked off.

He looks in great shape. His speed and punch variation looked to have improved a bit aswell.
Never looked like stopping the bloke though. Never seem to have a lot of urgency to want to, was happy to to move and box where he looked decent. When he loaded up he looked a bit clumsy.

I'm hoping maybe they might put him in there with Wallin, seeing he just had an 8 rounder keep busy fight of his own recently.

I don’t think he’s got enough power to worry the next level of competition, but what he does, he does well.
