Agreed but unfortunately Aussie boxing telecast is still run by back slappers like Ben Damon and his merry men. I sometimes wonder how that bloke got a job as the main analyst for Aussie boxing he seems like a total dork. I heard a rumor that Kambosos doesn't like him and that is why he wasn't on the call for the Haney fight.

I think he's a good presenter. Interviews the fighters well & is a decent commentator. Was very surprised he wasn't involved in the telecast & there can only be one reason why.

Instead we had Gerard Whately, who is an AFL guy, & some MMA bloke providing 'expert' comments. Fair dinkum.

At least they had Barry Michael who I like.

 

tonights fight is a perfect candidate for a free to air event imo.

it should be on 7two or 9gem, not ppv. i think they should be gaining a public following before going ppv.

 

Yeah I remember Damon taking jabs at Kambosos on one of his podcasts because Kambosos doesn't play ball with the whole Aussie backslapper BS. Damon does decent interviews but I find him to be a massive suck ass the way he shamelessly used to jerk off Jeff Horn and now the Tszyu brothers. I guess that's how it works he is a company yes man and that is why he has the top job. I think he tried black balling Kambosos that is why the Lopez fight was on DAZN only not like other big Aussie fights that even if on DAZN foxtel would pick them up anyway.

 

Nothing wrong with a bit of forum unity babs. You should jump on the bandwagon and we can be one big happy family. The way stiflers mum would have wanted it.

LOL nah that was Andy Raymond I believe he got the ass from foxtel during the pandemic. I actually prefer him to Ben Damon. Raymond said some dumb stuff but he wasn't a snake in the grass like Ben Damon is.

BTW Stiffles would have shelled for this , he had the PPV for shite fights illness bad .
