Seems like lots of tickets still available for Tszyu v Harrison in only a few weeks time.
Wonder what happened as according to George Rose this is the most significant fight in Sydney for 100 years.

Ticket prices did seem steep when I looked but I'm sure the fight will sell well. Both at the stadium & with PPVs. It's potentially the toughest fight of Tim's career against his best credentialed opponent. A strong undercard won't hurt with sales either. Plenty of 50/50 fights.

Once the Eagle has landed (today I think) & starts flapping, people will gain an appetite for seeing how hard Timmy can bounce him off the canvas.

Yeah I feel like they haven't really started flogging it just yet Sandman.

As the fight approaches the media campaign with step up significantly and after the Wednesday card featuring Brock Jarvis I'm sure the Rose Bros with triple down on getting people to the venue. Possibly starting slashing ticket prices for the bleachers etc.

I honestly would have went to this if I could but ill have to settle with watching some on the way home from work and hopefully the last few on the card when I'm home.

I like Timmy and his team and hope he does well, but I really struggle to support a No Limit show due to the arrogance and attitude of some of those involved, particularly the Rose brothers.

As good as some of our fighters are they will never draw crowds like a prime Choc Mundine. No Limit should consider hiring him.

I think Choc was involved with the first boxing show on STAN, along with Danny Green and George Kambosos

Plenty of action on The Boxing Scoreboard this month. We're currently 1-nil behind thanks to a 27-second long count referee but I can't see us staying in the red for much longer. There's a whole world out there for us to conquer & we will be handing out some serious arse-whoopings commencing this month. Of note, there's three indigenous Australians flying the flag for us on the international stage in March so it will be interesting to see how many wins they bring home. Get out the brooms & didgeridoos, b/c I reckon they could clean sweep it.

    Current standings for 2023:

    Australia 0, The World 1.

Emanuel Navarette (Mexico) TKO9 Liam Wilson (for WBO Jr. Lightweight title)

    Scheduled for March:

Alex Winwood v Tibo Monabesa (Indonesia)
Brock Jarvis v Marlon Paniamogan (Philippines)
Paulo Aokuso v Yunieski Gonzales (Cuba)
Sam Goodman v TJ Doheny (Ireland)
Tim Tszyu v Tony Harrison (United States) (for interim WBO Jr. Middleweight title)
Paul Fleming v Charly Suarez (Philippines)
Dana Coolwell v Hasibullah Ahmadi (Afghanistan/UAE)
Lucas Browne v Jarrell Miller (United States)

    Australian boxing bling:

Jai Opetaia (IBF, The Ring & Lineal Cruiserweight championships)
Dennis Hogan (IBO Jr. Middleweight title)
    Ebanie Bridges (IBF Bantamweight title)
Cherneka Johnson (IBF Super Bantamweight title)

I never did like Billy Dib very much but I really feel for the guy. I hope he gets good news from his doctors and that he goes into remission. It makes you think how a young man who you would consider healthy and strong could get struck by cancer. Maybe the stress of a pro boxing career can cause things like this?

    It happens.

Also the tragedy of his wife would have taken it's toll.

Seems an odd coincidence that two young people getting cancer so close together. Hope it wasn't an environmental factor where they lived or something.

I'll tell you what Choc would say to gain attention; The Pride flag is trash. The vaccine causes 'died suddenly'. He should be 'the voice'. Russia is right. Biological men shouldnt play female sports.

Its never been about what he says that makes the big noise, so much as the reaction he would get to it.
