I wouldn’t mind watching this fight card, but PPV? Come on , Tim Tszyu’s upcoming American fight is being criticised in the US for being PPV . Boxing in Australia is a minority sport yet this deal between Fox and No limit is screwing the average Aussie boxing fan out of watching domestic fights. Promoters like Tasman Fighters, Ace Boxing and Smithy’s promotions are the ones keeping the sport alive for the Australian boxing fan. It’s BS

The true test of how big a fight is these days is whether it's on Australian television or not. If a fight isn't on Australian television, it's just not that big of a deal. If the discerning Australian audience isn't engaged, put a line through it.

I saw that Zerafa is paying over $4 with Sportsbet. Surely he can beat old man Lara? He would have to be over 40 by now.

 

Unfortunately, he's been sitting on his backside for as long as Lara has. If he was coming in fight-sharpened, I'd like his chances. But it's over there & he's not. I'll be cheering for Zerafa to win but he's going to be pushing you-know-what up hill, I reckon.
