Not really Justis-fied if you ask me but that's not on him. If the WBO sees it fit to rank him there then good for team JPH. Hopefully they can cash in on this lofty ranking.

Just finished watching the No Limit card from the weekend and I really enjoyed it. Masson VS the African guy was a surprisingly good scrap I didn't expect much from the African but he gave a good effort.

The main event was also pretty good. It was looking like Wilson was going to blow Dib out of there early with the two knockdown but Dib showed a lot of heart surviving that and giving a great go at it till the final bell. Loved the intensity from both guys.

Tait got knocked out and I remembered the first time I saw him fight and the commentators were comparing him to Pernell Whitaker and I remember thinking what the hell !!! are these guys on drugs? He's a southpaw and he's a boxer thats the only things he has in common with Sweet Pea but ability he's not even in the same stratosphere. It was such a ridiculous comparison.

    But good entertaining card.

I thought Tait would go further than he has but had no illusions about him being another Sweet Pea. His single biggest problem is lack of power. He is awkward and can shoe shine round after round but he just hasn't got any bang.

Plenty of BIG Australian boxing news:

    - Nice seeing Justis Huni ranked #1 in the WBO H/W rankings. I think he PUTS A WHOOPIN on either the #2 Moses Itauma or WBO Interim world champ, Joseph Parker. Only a matter of time before Australian boxing TAKES OVER the H/W division.
    - Speaking of WHOOPIN's, the Australian amateur boxing team travelled to the Dominican Republic last week & handed out a few to a bunch of other countries who DARED to take us on. GOLD MEDALS to Callum Peters, Monique Suraci & a couple of our other women fighters. Some of the contests over there were particularly brutal. Callum Peters dishes out plenty but takes a lot in return. The fans in the DR went nuts for the action in some of his fights. They also liked his post-fight victory celebrations. Jacob Cassar, a very talented young amateur who is a genuine chance for a medal in Los Angeles, got stopped in the first round of his semi-final by a local. Back on the horse, Cowboy.
    - Callum Peters has had a busy start to the year & will fight a decent Kiwi on the King Timmy undercard on 6 April. Also on the undercard is SON OF A SHOTGUN & last year's World Boxing Junior Amateur World Champ, Cooper O'Connell, who is turning pro.
    - No Limit boxing have signed Liam Paro. He wants to fight on No Limit's Foxtel shows so Australian sports fans actually get to see him fight. Apparently no-one watches Dead Zone.

The sale hasn't gone through yet, Bionic Man. When it does, hopefully all of the Dead Zone fighters will be appearing on our Foxtel television screens. That's where all the Australian sports fans are watching the cricket, league & Australian Rules. If our fighters want an audience beyond hardcore types like us, it's those eyeballs they need to attract.

Hopefully, more promoters will be able to get their events shown, rather than all the fighters signing with No Limit

I'd like them all on the one platform so I can ditch one of my subscriptions. I won't be holding my breath waiting for it to happen though.

That's not exactly accurate. The Opetaia v Nyika card did very good numbers here and abroad on DAZN. I think it seems to be you've got to get the word out there and be involved in fights that get punters interested. Probably more to the point, his promoter here doesn't have a deal with DAZN so has gone another route to get him active.

Thurman looks drained and also admitted he had short camp but I genuinely think he puts a massive beating on brock the odds in England on Thurman to win by ko are very good as well.

He would have to seriously drop the ball to lose to Jarvis.

Yep Jarvis has no defense and he has a glass jaw unless Thurman gets injured somehow he is going to KO Brock early.
