As I predicted just 3 days ago, Jack has dropped his title and officially moved up to Light Heavyweight. Therefore, unless Degale follows him to LHW, there won't be a rematch. Now that Jack is apart of one of the three boxing divisions with elite A class fighters, who do you think will be his first opponent?
I guess he'll go for a tuneup or two at the higher weight as all the top names are tied down, Ward/Kovalev with each other, Stevenson with either Alvarez/Bute or Joe Smith Jr. He isn't going to go straight into a high risk low reward fight like Beterbiev or Gvozdyk either.
Did you predict this after Mayweather said in the ring straight after the fight 'Jack is moving up to LHW' or during the 12th round?
Badou Jack commented on a James DeGale rematch and a Callum Smith fight, the following: "Quack, quack, quack, quack, quack, quack, quack"
Jack has been struggling to make 168 for quite a while now. He said that Degale would be his last fight at 168 months ago, but I guess not many believed him.
glossy or flat, my prediction rate is 97% accurate, meaning I am almost never wrong. Not to be confused with CST, who is almost never right.
You're quite right, forgive me I'm in a factious mood. Yeah he was big at the weight but really, can Jack cut it at 175? Not sure without the physical advantages he enjoyed at 168 that he has the skill-set to mix it with the elite at LHW.
I don't think he stands a chance against the 175 elites, but I think he can bully himself into position in the bottom 10 by facing Cleverly, Shabranskyy or Gvozdyk. I feel that these would be very good fights, but Jack should first start in the top 20 opponents to get warmed up.
bro is there any black dudes left in the top 10 at 168 now jack has moved up? he was the only black guy in the top 10, so now you'll probably agree with me 168 is weak haha
He went life and death with anyone of name he fought at SMW, eeking out SDs/MDs etc. I don't think he will be competitive at LHW.
He'll be hambo dancing to the canvas if he faces the likes of Kovalev, Beterbiev, Stevenson, Gvozdyk etc
Or he could be stronger and be a lot more competitive now that he doesn't apparently have to kill himself to make 68. Either way is possible, but I tend to agree he wont be much against most the top 10, although I can see him beating Stevenson.
