We have had new challengers. We had Dubois come through and challenge Usyk twice. We have seen Hrgovic come through and fall short when he had his big chance. We now have Itauma as the highest ranked new prospect, along side Kabayel. These are all new guys. The previous era of Wilder, AJ, and Fury is over now. They are all washed out and either shot to bits or semi-retired.
Dubois is not new. He was wasted by Joyce. And then by Usyk twice. Now Dubois wants the 3rd fight. Hrgovic is also not new. He's being hyped for 10 years, but he's nothing special.
Bakole let himself down by coming in obese in his recent fights. Very lucky to get a draw with Ajagba. He should get in shape and put in a commanding performance against a top 30 type opponent. Then his call outs against the likes of Parker will be more meaningful.
