floyd wants big money but dont want to get your hands dirty, and then he complain that he is not being treated fairly. If you dont want criticism then fight for the fans and give the fans thir moneys worth.

The world is not agains floyd its his constant boasting. who cares if u sell the most ppvs. who cares about your money, no one cares, we just want to see good fights and you seldom bring thats why as boxing fans we feel let down by your claims and we feel cheated.

GOOD STUFF!:good WASNT AWARE OF ALL THAT...JUST THOUGHT HE DIDN'T WANT THE TONY FIGHT CUZ HE WAS AFTER BIGGER MONEY FIGHTS..

AS I WAS READING THAT I RECALL FLOYD BEING IN NEGOTIATIONS FOR A FIGHT WITH OSCAR THAT SEPTEMBER...OSCAR ENDED UP NOT WANTING TO FIGHT AGAIN IN 2006 THUS WHY THEIR FIGHT HAPPENED IN 2007

NO WAY FLOYD DUCKED TONY..OSCAR WAS 4 TIMES AS MUCH IN PAY AND HE WAS CHASING THAT FIGHT...DIDNT DUCK TONY BUT WAS SIMPLY GOING AFTER THE BIGGER PAYDAY AT THE TIME...

MOSLEY DID THE SAME THING..COULD HAVE FOUGHT FLOYD BUT CHOSE TO MOVE UP AND GO AFTER A BIGGER MONEY FIGHT IN OSCAR...

ANYONE WHO THINKS FLOYD DUCKED TONY IS CRAZY...MOSLEY DID THE SAME **** AND WENT AFTER THE MONEY IN 99 INSTEAD OF FIGHTING FLOYD AND I DONT BELIEVE HE "DUCKED" FLOYD AT ALL...JUSS MADE THE SMARTER MOVE

    THANKS AGAIN FOR THE INFO...

Mayweather has created a strong persona, he's a good self-promoter and you either hate him or love him. Most people don't fall in between. With that said...

    GO MOSLEY!!

With me it's like this. He's an incredible fighter, one of the best I've ever seen. I want to see him lose because of his personality. Because he always talking bout "I make more money then Shane", "I got a custom made suit, Shane got one off the rack". The mother****a talks too much ****, implies that Pac is doping, contradicts himself, is immature, insecure, a clown and a jackass etc. He also avoided Cotto and Maragarito, and I would've liked him to fight Shane earlier too, but the thing is, I respect the guy and I even admire him. Not just for what he does in the ring but his confidence, his dedication, the way he can provide for his kids and his family, making sure they don't have to work for nobody. I don't think he's a bad guy either. He's a *****, but he's a good guy really, if you know what I mean. I mean he's just immature, but not a bad guy, and you don't do what he's done without being strong mentally. I'll even go as far as to say he inspires me, but I still wanna see him owned by almost anyone he fights. I have to be real, like I said he's a ***** but he's a good guy. I don't hate any boxer, just dislike some.

I don't hate mayweather, sometimes I find him irritating, mainly cos he talks so much **** and I dont mean talk smack, I mean just pure garbage hypocritical ****, some of his jokes are so lame and cringeworthy, sometimes he comes off as really fake but then again, sometimes I find him quite likeable and funny. I'm glad he's around as I appreciate his skills. Like it or not, he is one of the guys in boxing that will define this era.

Hate him or love him. He will be remembered as one of the best of his era. But his legacy will always be tainted with the fights that didn't happen.

He fought the #2 p4p and failed to make weight against a guy moving up 2 weight classes! Why didn't he ask for ped testing against Marquez? Dude, you are seeing what you want to see, not what is actuality.

floyd is good but we don't know how good. he ducks the best fights. at the same time he discredits dangerous oppoennts like Cotto, Margarito, Pacquiao, saying they're B level, punching bag, on drugs, etc. but avoids fighting them. i think it's fear. and great fighters don't let their fears make them duck tough fights repeatedly. they overcome their fears if they even feel fear.

floyd lies. he shows fear, he shows ***** and he shows qualities unbecoming of a true champion. for these reasons, he is a fraud and not worthy of respect. his multitude of disreputable actions and outright lies overshadow the fine performances he had in the ring vs. Corrales, Gatti. Genaro Hernandez, etc.

Until he tests his skills against the prime best - Pacquiao - he is a fraud pretending to be the best.

I share similar thoughts to yours as well. I really don't give a **** how he lives his life, that's his own business even though he can act like an ******* sometimes I really don't think he's that way with everyone. Like a friend who's followed wrestling, supposedly the guys who play a villain or a bad guy get paid more. Maybe like Larry Holmes before him, many people might of thought he was an ******* at somepoint, but you have to give credit for the skills and he realized at some point making people believe he is an ******* might get their attention if his skills weren't enough and want to watch him fight, win or lose.

If anyone is blind here it's some of Floyd's fans, aka the *****'s and floyderina's, that think because as great as their fighter is, the reality is he is not undefeated and even though he is hard to beat he can be beat again like Castillo did it the first time. I think his success in boxing lately has to do alot with timing of his fights as much as it has to do with his skills, as much as the *****s hate to admit it, but it's the truth. Despite his age, I think him fighting Mosley is at least a step ahead of him fighting the smaller Marquez and Hatton and the way past his prime and over the hill Delahoya. At the least Shane might be past his prime, but not over the hill yet. So Floyd gets some credit, but not totally. In a way, it's not his fault at the moment the other 2 best WW's one is much smaller than him and the other much older, but it is what it is and he has to satisfy and give the masses what they want and in the end I think he will know it's up to the people to judge who the greatest is, not himself. He beats the best, he will be the best. And it will be interesting because he hasn't fought the best since fighting Castillo, who was the best at 135. No one can say Hatton was because he wasn't the best obviously at 147.

    nice post mate :good

i agree, pbf wouldn't go as far as to where he is now if he was not confident, strong-willed and dedicated person. He's a ***** in the outside, but he backs it up inside the ring. You can't deny the he's one of the best talents in the history. But i still hope someone beats him before he retires :p
