I saw the fight in between watching fox news. Looked pretty good. Manfredo won 97-93 on all 3 cards. Banks looked like a pretty decent power but he has less of a punch than Ottke. I'd love to see Manfredo-Green at 162.

Fair enough. I think Manfredo's offense is full of holes, but to each his own. :good

Is Roach permanently leaving Manfredo? If so, that's a shame- he actually looked to be making some progress with Freddie training him.

Not sure of the situation. I just know that he hasn't been in Manfredo's corner for his past 3 fights.

If some midwestern tomato can can put Green on ***** street and nearly KTFO him, an ordinary fringe contender like Manfredo might just be able to keep him there. :nod

Peter seems very unhappy with his father training him, I mean, he asked Teddy to train him!

Peter improved with Roach, and he's digressed with his father into a fighter who just isn't sure of himself, the stuff he was doing against Pemberton and Spina and how he looked last night were so totally different, it had to be Roach.

Weren't you saying things like that before Green - Miranda ? Didn't Green made it to the final bell ? And wouldn't Miranda beat Manfredo 10 times out of 10 ? :think

It defiitely didn't look like the same Manfredo. I was about to get sick from his seeming inability to stop gettin CRACKED by Banks right hand. I was impressed with how humble he was in post fight and he probably does need to take a break and re-group. BTW, even though he took a ton of good looking right hand leads from Banks and his eye was pretty much smashed shut he stayed in there and fought hard. Overall it was a good show and the cruiserweight before hand was awesome, will have to keep an eye out for him in the future.
