The WBO must have a rule which means it can change it's rules for Sports Network.

I agree...it was never really about the title...he is a big enough name to get big fights anyway...this fight was about what he would have proved in the ring...it's a shame.

Yeah, Banks is a competitive fight and it would have been good to see how Enzo reacts in this fight.
I don't think Warren will bring in Hide, just an Eastern European type who offers no threat sadly.

Unless we get another Sosnowski type "no threat", of course...

Only one man can step in and replace Banks, a comeback has been long awaited and long been touted by variuos people but this is his chance....... step forward Prince Naseem Hamed, he's at the weight already he could fight tomorow. Now thats something i'd pay to watch.

11.30pm Monday night - I've just seen an ad on sky news for 'judgement night' which clearly refers to Macc v Banks 'another title chance'. The fight was confirmed as off over 12 hours ago.

    This is false advertising.

Anyone know the right place to channel complaints for this? The ASA? Ofcom?

    Its bang out of order

Agreed. Both I would have thought.

Last year when the BBBC refused Ezra Sellers as an opponent for Enzo the WBO responded, in what was quite likely an unprecedented move, by producing new ratings for the month, completely dropping Sellers from the ratings and bringing in Mohammad Azzaiou - who surprise, surprise became Enzo's new opponent.

It's different circumstances here but I'd not rule out anything when it comes to the WBO.
